This app will help attendees of the Wichita Riverfest purchase VIP tickets, find the dates, times and locations of all Riverfest events. The app will allow them to search the Food Court vendors and find what they want to eat and drink. The app will also provide weather updates and cancellation of any events.
They might want to consider turning the app loose for beta testers before making it public. Within two minutes I discovered that the links “see on map” show a world map that you can’t zoom in on. This is only helpful for those who don’t know what hemisphere an event will be taking place in.
The schedule is helpful, but in my opinion accurately determining the location of an event is a critical function. This is even true for those of us who know the downtown area pretty well as the names of locations are changed just for river fest.
There is no additional information on any of the performers. Clicking through to find more information just takes you through an endless loop showing the same two screens with no information. One would have to be familiar with the performers to even know what genre you could expect to hear if you decided to go. I would think this also would be a critical function of the app. The only reason it didn’t get a single star is that there is some minor functionality in the app and one-star reviews are reserved for apps that actually deserve zero stars.
Mama searle,
2022
Just scanned QR code in 2022 flyer and this pulls up the 2021 app
maddogict,
Great app with very useful information
The app is pretty good with all the festival information. The schedule with the times and location of the events is a nice touch as well. The map feature was really helpful finding the location for everything. Great job !
Pbc11,
Great App
Great layout, very easy to use. All the information you need in one place.
Golferwaldo,
Wow
Most poorly designed app I’ve ever seen! Concert times doesn’t even show up correctly! Hard to navigate and find information!
Micheal_stan,
Not worth the download.
Why did they even bother making an app. There’s nothing going on.
