ButtSeriously,
Only missing one thing I can see...
Just downloaded this to overcome some new issue preventing me from accessing my iPhone as a camera in Win7 and have some 50+ photos to transfer, and a "Select All" button or option when picking photos from a source would be EXTREMELY handy (developer site states this is an iPhone or OS limitation). At about 8-10 seconds for each pick to get ZIPed up it can take a long time just to select more than a few photos. Still, an app that adds an extremely useful feature. Get "Select All" in there (perhaps OS4 allows for this now?) and a 5-star rating would be a no-brainer.
tomcm1,
Good concept but slow
Thought this would be a shortcut way to get photos uploaded to my laptop and it does that well by letting you click on the photos you want uploaded. Problem is that as you select each one it takes 15 or so seconds to process the photo. It would have been nice to select all the photos and THEN process them. So the time you spend waiting for each photo to be handled could easily be offset by connecting through hardwire to Itunes and uploading.
Feefer2,
Yup, what he said...
Slows your workflow, as you have to wait a long time between photos for processing. Don't waste your time...
Fergil,
Fantastic app and so easy to set up!
The app works as advertised. Images are downloaded at their FULL and ORIGINAL resolution. There's no downscaling. The problem reported in another review is due to the fact that the ORIGINAL picture was 640x480, probably taken with a zoom app or transferred from iPhoto which automatically resizes images. I was able to send my favorite pictures from my iphone at the original resolution so easily. Since I have a pc it is not that convenient to connect to itunes and have my device recognized, etc. This app completely eliminates that hassle.
Garbryanzo,
Nice but strips metadata!
I would anticipate using this a lot as I don't sync often so it always takes me forever to offload photos.

BUT, it strips the metadata from the images. Please fix this!

One suggestion in regards to choosing photos, I'd like the ability to select multiple photos and then hit Go to have it prepare them for download. Having to wait a couple seconds each time I select a photo bugs me.

It's a great idea and a nice app but I can't use it until it maintains metadata. Looking forward to an update!
BC1976,
Absolutely amazing!
Absolutely amazing! I'm not one to give high praise to new apps but this is as straight forward as can be for transferring files fast! DL this just 5 min ago and tested it out in a span of less then 5 min and successfully moved a few photos. The quality was the same as the original which in my case is the full 2MP as I have the original iPhone. Thanks for an awesome app! If I could suggest one thing and that is to perhaps in a future upgrade to offer the ability to move videos as I'm looking at trading up to the new 3GS. Thanks again !
find my way,
It also works from iPhone to iPhone
I don't belive this is mentioned in the description, but I tried it with a friend and it works. Use the same method as if you were transfering to another computer. When the image shows up on the other iPhone's Safari browser, just hold you finger on the image for a couple of seconds and a menu to save the image pops-up.

Great application that works well and does not require any special software other than the appliation itself.
rosnerd,
Everyone should have this app
Well, I had tried a similar app for transfering my pictures from my Cameraroll to my Mac, but I must admit that it was slightly more complicated than WiFiPhoto. WiFiPhoto is so self-explamatory and easy to use, especially when you don't have a USB cabnle for transferring your data to your computer. I just miss one feature: being able to transfer vids at the same time as transferring photos. I am sure they will add this feature in a future update though! BRAVO guys!
rixmb,
Tremendous app! Great help for downloading and sharing your iPhone photos!
Ignore what some have (incorrectly) posted about WiFiPhoto not downloading at full resolution. It downloads at the full (or same) resolution that the photo on your phone is in. I downloaded numerous photos from my phone and the downloaded copies are in exactly the same resolution as the photos on my iPhone.

This app works smoothly and is very easy to use. Highly recommended!
socialdist,
exactly what I needed!
this is my first time reviewing an app, but I felt I should after I found wifiphoto. I had a couple hundred screenshots cluttering up my camera roll, but I didn't want to take the time to email them to myself a few at a time. this app turned it into a simple five-minute process. the web viewing and zip downloading work perfectly. definitely worth the 99 cents.
