A CLASSIC FARO CARD GAME
The Wild West Faro card game was the most popular card game played throughout the Old West. Known within the local Saloon as "bucking the tiger" or "twisting the tiger's tail" this name originated from the early card backs, which featured a drawing of a Bengal tiger. By the mid-19th century the tiger was commonly associated with the game. With our faro card game app you’re able to immerse yourself in a unique gaming experience and enjoy hours of fun!
HOW TO PLAY
The rules of this version of the Faro card game are similar to the original. The betting layout consists of a suit of Spade cards, from Ace up to King. Players would bet on the card of their choice or multiple cards. The dealer would then exposes cards in pairs, a winner and a loser card, the dealer would then pay out or collect accordingly depending on whether you won or lost. Wild West Faro allows you to place several different types of bet, such as a bet on the High Card, a parlay bet, a single bet card or multiple bets on several different cards to either win or lose, when betting on a card or cards to lose, this is known as coppering the bet. This is where an old Indian head penny coin or washer was placed on top of the bet. You can place as many bets as you want before dealing, betting from $1 to $1 million in an effort to break the bank by winning all of the Dealers money!

- Bug fix identified with v1.3.0 when using the move a bet cheat option.
The problem with this bug was that the player was not able to move a bet, when the bet marker display option was turned off, this issue has now been rectified.

We are excited to bring you several new updates to improve your overall gaming experience.
- A new menu system incorporating the Cheating on and off button, Stats, History and Rules sections of the game along with several addition new features.
- Card dealing animation on/off button (this function will only work when the cheating button is turned off).
- Bet marker display on/off button - this button will turn on and off the ghost betting markers on the playing table.
- Dead card display on/off button – this function will, once all 4 cards have been dealt, remove the dead cards altogether from the playing table (again this function will only work when the cheating button is turned off).
- Betting history: instead of a pop up after each turn telling you which card was the winning card, this new function will list all betting results for each turn throughout the game that you are currently playing i.e. how much you bet, what you won and what you lost, in addition to this you will also be able to see which cards you bet on and won, lost or were declared a split bet. Within the betting history, you also have the option after each turn, to go back and review previous turns if you wish. At the end of a game the betting history is reset before a new game commences, please note that this option will not store previous games played only your current data. You can also turn the betting history pop up notification on and off allowing you the option of speeding up the game play experience.

If you have anything remotely resembling a new iPhone or iPad DO NOT BUY THIS APP. It just plain ol’ doesn’t work.
After you pony up your money and download the app you get a cool-looking icon, and even cooler load screen when you open it, and then it all shuts down and doesn’t do anything else.
Maybe an update for the app would help. Not holding my breath!

On iPhone and iPad the game crashes before it even opens. Paid $2 and have never even been able to play the game.
