Willio lets you split bills between friends and keep track of who owes what.
+ Keep track of who owes what +
Create an event, and add the participants from your contacts. Then add a payment each time someone pays for the group. If the payment should not be split equally among the participants, you can specify specific shares or amounts.

Choose a currency for your event. If you have to do some payments in other currencies, just pick the one you want when adding the payment. Willio will get the exchange rate for you. If you are offline, you can set the exchange rate manually.
+ Keep it balanced +
See at a glance who should pay next, to keep the debts balanced. Willio sorts the participants by who owes the most.
+ Don't break the bank +
You have a budget and don't want to spend too much during your weekend? Willio shows the amount you spent so far.
+ Send a report via email +
Send an email listing who owes what to all the participants. The email report describes how the debts can be solved. Also the payments description is attached as a spreadsheet file.

- one can now enter several decimal digits for a currency exchange rate. This was causing issues for "weak" currencies.
- on iOS 8, for some contacts, the photo was not displayed by Willio

- Willio does not display an amount per person anymore, as this value could be invalid in the case of uneven shares. The total amount spent is displayed instead. Note that only payments (not reimbursements) are taken into account to compute this total.

Wilow is easy to use and understand. Makes tracking and splitting expenses very straight forward.

This is the best app of it's type I've used except for one major frustration. They use the term Paid For and Paid By to mean two very different things but the terms describe the identical thing. No matter how many times I use the app I can't remember which option to use. PLEASE listen and change this to something like Amount Paid and Who Paid. Then it will be a 5-star app.

Love this app
Recently went on vacation with several friends to Ireland. We were able to track all the different things that each of us paid for and have a nice reckoning in the end. The selection of users from address book is currently broken, but the developer says she will have a fix in a couple of days. I just added my friends email addresses by hand and it worked fine as a workaround.

Sad Little App
Sad to know that a $2 app doesn't have the option of splitting amounts in shares. Developers really got to think more pratically and understand that not all transactions are meant to be split equally among parties. Will be requesting for a refund right away.

I added an event, then tried to add people to the event. It asked if I wanted to add people from my contacts or type in name. I chose add from contacts. App force closed. Tried several times, same result. Deleted app.
