With this version you’ll be going places. New logo and the ability to propose places in different countries and cities, see photos, reviews, contact details and opening hours. Are you meeting at a friend’s house? No problem – now you can also search for addresses.

This version is all about keeping count of unread notifications and displaying the correct number. Simples.

In this version, you won't notice anything visible but we’ve made improvements to notifications and re-engineered a couple of things behind the scenes in preparation for the next release.

We are hoping that one day AI will fix all the bugs, but until then this version fixes a few small bugs that make searching for places even better.

They say always surround yourself with friends that have plenty of light in them but some of our friends prefer dark mode, so this version is for them. Of course we love them all – they are our favourite notifications and it's always nice to get notified when friends reply or propose new places, dates and times, so this version includes notifications to help everyone stay up to date.

One tiny tweak, setting the default window background colour on iOS 12, may seem trivial, but will make your experience miles better.

You can now see which invites have been confirmed and a red little dot that pops up when a friend replies or proposes a new place, date and time.

The confetti cannon after creating an invite now works again. It's the small celebrations that matter.

Completely new design, sign in with a Google or Apple account and the ability to share an invite URL that your friends can use to join.

In an over-enthusiastic release act, we made a silly mistake that caused the app to crash. Sorry! It now works again – keep calm and go out meet some friends. We are doing the same.

Quite a few improvements that make the app better under the hood and one event that marked the week and reminded us of epic moments with friends at the iconic KOKO club across the street in London where Madonna, The Rolling Stones, Prince, Amy Winehouse, Lady Gaga and many others started being rescued from a big fire. You can now upload a new profile photo or use that cool one from last year – up to you how you want your friends to see you. Plus our tireless elves crossed out a few other things from their naughty list this Christmas. Now is the time to go out and be jolly!

A small bug meant that the next action of an invite was not always updated. All's good now so you always know what to do next. Get some friends together and have fun!

Now you can delete invites that never happened because of reasons or remove yourself from an invite and stop getting notifications. Just swipe left on an invite and tap delete. Your friends will understand.

Winter and dark mode are here – at least in the northern hemisphere. A new funky version for iOS 13 is here too that makes it so much easier to confirm the date, time and place that you are going out so brush off any winter blues and tap let's go!

A few wrinkles ironed out to make the app smoother.

What's in a week? Lots: work, uni, gym, shopping, travelling, cooking, chilling, that series on Netflix and of course meeting friends. This version introduces invites grouped by week, a more minimal list of invites, and quite a few improvements under the hood. Now “drinks this week” makes so much more sense.

This is all about the red little dot. The one that pops up when a friend replies or suggests a new place, date and time. Now you can tell which invite the notification is about and how many you have. Friends don't let friends forget!

Wimit even with friends who don't have the app – yet. Just send an invite and your friends will get an SMS with a magic link that has all the details. They reply, you get their replies in the app and they get your messages via SMS. We call these magic invites.
