Conceptually brilliant
I love the idea but it's still got some programming glitches to work through, and the base of people isn't that big yet. I encourage you to download the app and give it a shot. It's a nice way to sort of vicariously live through our single friends which is fun. I had trouble getting my invites accepted by my friends so it was just a hassle and didn't end up working for us. My advice, give it a chance and if you run into some glitches, don't get too worked up. It's still beta after all. Another issue though, it seems the "delete" option is just a "deactivate" option. I was hoping to reboot and retry so that we could get my friend started but nothing changed after "deleting" and "rejoining"

While scrolling through the web I came across an article about a mother with stage 4 trying to find love for her daughter. Well I’ve been currently striking out fully in the dating “game” ever since I got clean and sober, figured I’d at least check it out considering she’s in a similar area as me. So I downloaded the app. Disappointed to say the least! Not in the goal of finding a match but I’m just setting myself up for success. At first it seemed ok. Then once my profile was “complete”, I preview it and there are double photos and even personal photos that I didn’t choose right there in plain view! After several go around dog trying to delete those while keeping the others, they finally were removed. Then I tried to look for a match. FAIL! It just continues to load and load and the eventually an error screen? I then went to reviews of this app and there’s 1 from less than a year ago and most all are 3+ years old which tells me that the devs of this app are in a constant turnaround of employees or they’ve just given up and wanted to use NYE as a publicity stunt. Either way, I’ll give it a few days to hopefully work, after that I’ll be back hopelessly wandering the dating world old fashioned style…🤷♂️

Like it but trying to LOVE it
I really like the basic premise behind this app. I downloaded it as fun way to help single family members meet new people but have run into some glitches along the way. The app is not very intuitive and the explanations in FAQ were confusing and contradictory. I almost deleted and walked away from app completely but I reached out to the customer support. Their response and patience with me has be beyond impressive. Sadly I still don’t fully understand how it works and am still confused but it is not from a lack of Wingman Support trying. I would give the app 2.5-3 stars for it actual usefulness an design, but the response and helpfulness of its Wingman Support definitely pushes it to a solid 4. I like the idea behind the app so I’m not ready to give up yet. t

Good concept, bad execution
It is more fun swiping for my friend than for myself. But this apps bugs take most of the enjoyment out of it. The notification system is broken—it doesn’t send me any pushes even though I enabled it, and it sends the same profiles through “friend needs your help!” Over and over again. Now I don’t know if I’ve just sent 40 notifications to someone saying they should check out my friend. And if I hit X I don’t know if i’ve ruined her chance.
Other smaller bugs are equally irritating: about half the time I can’t see all of a person’s photos unless I quit the app and reopen. Wingman essays also cut off with no way to expand to see the rest of what was said. I wanna read the whole thing!
Overall, I wish I could enjoy this app but so far it’s mostly been a frustration to use. Hopefully it gets better.

One thing right off the bat…
My friend just made me a profile and I started swiping and right away I wish there was an option to ask your wingman about the person before liking them. There’s an option to ask THEIR wingman about them before you like them but I wish I could get my wingman’s opinion before doing anything.

Love the idea, still trying out the app
Read about this idea somewhere and decided to give it a try. So far it looks pretty good except for that there’s not hat many people on it. I do think that this app actually encourages you to read people’s profile so that’s a big difference.
For the team:
Maybe work on advertising a little more so there can be more users? I see super great potential in this app and definitely expect it to surpass tinder super soon in the serious dating world! Great idea and a great job with it!

There’s nobody here
I live in a major metropolitan area, and there were like ten people in my (generous) age bracket within a forty mile radius. Also, it’s kind of creepy that if your wingman suggests you to someone and that someone accepts, they’re just foisted upon you and you get no say in the matter. So then you’re stuck awkwardly having to either ignore them or start a conversation, even if you are not interested.
And on the technical side, the badge app icon notifications don’t go away after you view them. For someone who likes a clean, notification-free home screen on their phone, it’s really irritating.

Ideas great but poor quality on coding
The idea behind this app is great! But the app itself doesn't work too well. Half the time wingman comments don't come up and neither do the people other pictures you have to close out of the app and go back in. When writing a wingman comment the app malfunctioned and didn't let me post and then wouldn't let me do it after that. Had to delete the account and start again. It's also gave me a fake name???? Signed in as myself and it showed my name as something totally different. Just needs some fixes for sure

Great concept, super glitchy so far
Love this concept - but have had lots of weird issues from the start - problems uploading a profile pic, then it showed up multiple times, invited friends, then one couldn’t verify her (correct) phone number at first, the other two invites have disappeared. First friend now can’t save any info she has created. I hope devs are working to fix these issues!

Great in theory
First of all, there are not enough people on this app to make it successful. I swiped through the people in my area very quickly, there were about 5 of them. When the developers started allowing people to introduce themselves instead of requiring a wingman to do it, I started getting guys interested in me that really felt like scam/catfishing. Everyone has tattoos and says they are in the military and is constantly sending me things saying they want to connect. I’ve had probably close to 10 of this same type of dude.
