Completed trial. Little bit old school but still fun!
Update: it is fun, but I'm not sure I'd buy it if it weren't on sale. So I'm reducing my rating to 3 stars. Here's why: after the trial, there is a load delay between scenes, some of the HOPs are dark and blurry, and there are a lot more HOPs in the mix...like they gave up on the other puzzles. It is still fun, but I just feel like maybe they spent a lot more time on the trial than the rest of the game...I feel a bit like a sucker. (End of update)
Hello... While I agree with many reviewers that this game is a little old school, I still am enjoying playing it. The storyline is good, there is no waiting between scenes, and I like the little imp. It's dark without being bloody or gory, too. Plus it has some of my fave features: a teleporting map, a hint button, labeled inventory, a magnifying glass for each scene so you can make sure you haven't missed an active area, dialog that makes sense, collectible items and morphing objects, and a fun variety of HOPs and minigames. I will update as I get closer to finding niece Lynn, but Auntie Blueflier recommends... Even though it is a little dated, it's a fun game, it's a BUY!
Personal: Hope all is well with my fellow reviewers and that you're all enjoying the May flowers. 🌸🌹🌺🌼 Happy birthday, L/M.
I also like the slightly threatening/dark vibe without being too scary. If you like the Witches Legacy series, you may like this too.
