WMM PAL Hack 5.0 + Redeem Codes

This APP uses the latest World Magnetic Model from the National Geophysical Data Center, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to calculate the magnetic declination at a specific latitude, longitude, elevation, date and time. It is being provided here, as an alternative to the website based NOAA Magnetic Declination Calculator, to enable you to determine the magnetic declination information if you are unable to access the internet from your current location.

As an example, simply enter the latitude and longitude in degrees decimal (e.g. Toronto 43.653584, -79.384033) where a negative sign is required for south latitudes or west longitudes. Enter the elevation in meters then push the Calculate button. The declination is in degrees decimal relative to earth's rotational true north.

The GPS WIZ app uses this same WMM calculation method to determine headings between waypoints.

The "My Location" button has been provided to permit direct locating of your current position on a map. Your latitude, longitude and elevation (GPS altitude) will be automatically calculated for you and entered into the magnetic declination calculation. This map feature has been significantly upgraded to now allow you to pan and zoom to other locations on the map, anywhere on the planet. When you drag the map from your current location a notice will ask you to enter the new elevation. The magnetic declination will automatically be calculated for you. This is a very easy feature and powerful to use. Note: This new feature is now included in the app at no extra cost without the original in-app purchase requirement.


iRate is still included to encourage users to rate the app. It appears every 10 days or after every 10 uses of the app. Once rated it stops appearing. If you select "No, Thanks" it will not appear again.
