Not good about updates
The app itself serves its purpose; however, since iOS 12 has been out, the app has proved completely useless because all it does is crash. There obviously was no testing in beta or anything to get this ready. Had this update happened while I was out of town, I would have been outraged. The feeders are not cheap and the app that goes with them does not need to be fancy but you better believe I expect it to at least run. Please update your app so it works with iOS12 and stay on top of future updates so this does not happen again!

Great potential
This product and accompanying software has the potential for greatness but there are a couple issues for the time being. At first I tried using meow mix in the dispenser but the fish shapes kept getting blocked. The app currently has no push notifications to alert you if this happens so my cats went without food for longer than expected. Ever since that first time, I have to check the app every time they are scheduled to be fed to make sure there isn’t another blockage. I have already switched to round dry food so hopefully there won’t be anymore issues with blockages but it would be really nice if the app had push notifications to let you know when there is a problem.
Secondly, I have found that the video feed freezes every few seconds, especially when trying to enable the microphone or speaker in conjunction. This has been the case on several different networks so I’m not sure if it is a problem with the app or the device itself.

So inconvenient and complex
This app is truly a piece of garbage. While it is the only app you can use to connect their wopet brand “smart” feeder, good luck trying to connect it causing it will costs you forever to pair and yet another failure. I don’t understand why this app is allowed to be put online another time. My feeder was a total disaster and I have to retire it after 4 months of manual feed as I don’t have connection.

It worked in the past. With iOS 13 it no longer works.
It worked for a long time. With iOS 13 it no longer works. The feeder will say that it paired, but the iPad will not. Because of this, the WiFi and camera and timed feeding do not work with the WOPET. You can only use the button on the machine.

The app doesn’t seem to support newer versions of iOS. Not sure why the developers can’t seem to update the app so that it can continue to be used with the device. I am now having to purchase a new and different device because this app no longer works with the feeder.

App crashes
The app crashes every time I open it. I can’t access anything if I need to update the feeders which is the whole point of buying the product the app is for

Needs updates
The feeders are awesome but this app doesn’t allow both my husband and myself to access the feeders. It also crashes constantly. With the new iOS update I can’t even open it!

Potential.. but fail.
The tech is there - this thing feeds my cat great. But the camera barely works and the clock format is abysmal. I have to pretend like I’m set to African time and hope it matches my east coast USA time.

Software issue
When you try to pair the feeder the wifi SSID does not come up as the correct name and displayed as WI-FI. So you can NOT connect it to the correct Wi-Fi . Something changed please fix!
