Word Blitz ･ Hack 6.4.0 + Redeem Codes

I have been playing Word Blitz for a few months with only a few (known) friends and one stranger named Barbie who actually started a game with me right after I downloaded the app. I love the game-play features. She and I play multiple times through the day and have been seamlessly starting new games after current ones end. We are a good match, about 50/50 winning/losing, so I wouldn’t think she would want to block me for some reason.

Right after I updated this app, she disappeared off of my friends list. The closed games between us still showed up on my closed games list at first, but are disappearing as I play more games with others. I’d like to restart a game with her but I don’t know how to reach her bc we were not friends on social media before and all the info the app will show me about her is the name “Barbie”, so I can’t search effectively.

Why did this happen and how can I regain access to starting a new game with her? The app seems to grant poor access to communication options between friends. Also, I can’t start a new game with any existing friends, either. It only lets me “nudge” them. Is this how it’s supposed to work? If so, that’s very limiting, as well.

I would give it more stars for the game, itself, but the cumbersome nature of the friends-management and the actual manipulation of games leads me to give it only 3 stars.

Update 6/22 - Sometimes I’ll open the app and the screen immediately opens into a game, like I have to start playing immediately without even seeing the opening menu. Also many times I will open the app and again instead of seeing the Home Screen I’ll be taken to show the results of another game. Why can’t it just alway open to the Home Screen? It’s stressful to have to sometimes begin playing without even a beat. And the “report a problem” link does not work. So I have to report the problem here. Please fix this, I’ve had this issue multiple times. Sometimes I just want to see if any games are waiting to play, not immediately begin playing upon opening the app. (Older review follows) Wish they wouldn’t have made the rotate button smaller and squeezed it into the corner. Plus, would be nice to be able to play all 3 games without having to wait for the other person. Fun but you can’t even report problems. Also, the game will randomly start games, why does it do this? I am not initiating these games but will open the app and I’ll be taken directly into a game with someone I don’t want to play with without even seeing the menu first. And it will always be with someone who I had a closed game with but chose not to play again.

I am very good at word search puzzles and games, generally. This game is addictive but it’s so frustrating when the board has a bunch of scrumbled letters with no known words in visible sight. The words listed, after i see my terrible score and had strained my eyes trying to make sense of the letter arrangements, are ones I’ve never seen or heard of and I just googled one that was in the last round I failed dismally in. Sallee. When I googled “sallee definition”, the word “sally” appeared defined and under It was “sallee in British English or sally noun Australian. 1. Also called snow gum… a SE Australian Eucalyptus tree. Eucalyptus pauciflora with a pale gray bark“ ..
•”Saigas” (even Siri doesn’t know these words because she’s trying to correct my spelling) “a sheep like antelope of Siberia and eastern Russia having the nasal region inflated and the nostrils widely separated and in the male having Lyra the annulated horns and tufts of long hair beneath the eyes and ears.”
That’s just two examples the list goes on and on. The game is in English, so why does it contain words uncommonly used and extremely known?? The only way I’d ever get these words is by accident. I’ve been holding back from reviewing but it’s getting worse and hard to play because it’s gotten to where I’m only finding words like “the” “of” “so” “too” “sea” etc. and it’s so very disappointing.

If you play one game in the app, you have to shut it down and reopen it toggle sound on and off or next game has no sound. Ty be updated everything and running newest version of iOS. I’m not alone. I started playing through messenger instead with no issue however YALL SCREWED THAT UP today!!! Now obnoxiously LOUD music really annoying and if you must the music you mute the sounds of words being swiped with helps me. It also stopped having a timer clock or at least last countdown seconds which for me were paramount. If they are there you can’t hear because of the obnoxious music. Went back to the app today and still no sound of playing more than one single game. No sure what happened and how this can get remedied. It ruins the game play.

I love this game and play it daily…but the recent change to the terrible background music has greatly reduced the fun. Many people whose brains like words and language might find the music an annoying interference, and a BIG reason to seek out a different game. The old sounds…when they worked…were the perfect audio feedback, including the countdown timer. I wish I never did this update, I much preferred the finicky feedback sounds. Please QUICKLY issue an update with the original sounds and ditch this intruding electronic music. 2 stars because of this change. 5 stars when the old sounds return.

Update: still has the terrible sounds, but what’s even worse is that the sounds are absent completely for the majority of the games. While I dislike the current sounds, I do want the audio feedback. So please fix the sounds so they work consistently. Thank you.

I come home from my daily tasks looking to relax and play the Wordblitz game with friends and strangers. They who desire to out score me are unlimited, but I only choose to engage a select few. The challengers, the scoring and winning by one point , the thought bring a smile to my face. I just think about how disappointed they are going to be again today when they see my numbers. If that was my reality, I would be a happy person, but no way, I turn my iPad on and punch up the game, and nothing but wiggly colored line zigzagging across my screen. Oh, how disappointed I am when that happens, it doesn’t happen every time, but often enough to make me write this review.

As the title says, there is no “random opponent” function in the game. It pits you against a bot every time. You can tell by the well placed stolen profile pictures, they’re all like you’d see in an advertisement. You can also tell by throwing a game: start a game and then force close the app, you’ll get 0 points but so will your opponent every single time. The bot is designed to get a slightly lower score than you every time, to make you feel like you must be good at the game. I’m ranked top ten globally in Ruzzle, which is just a MUCH better version of this game. I knew something felt absurd when random opponents on a new low level account were keeping up getting 100+ words in a minute when there are only a handful of people I’ve seen over years and years who are able to pull that off. Don’t waste your time here.

I’ve been playing this game for a while now and I really enjoy the whole game but this one thing. When I’m playing a game, I just loose every time because of the people I match up with are bots?? I really don’t know about this but I’m bad this game, it’s just you know how normal people win rounds and the other person loses? Normal thing, right? But people are so good at this game, it seems like they are bots. like they scored like… about 1300 points a round or a bit higher than I suspected. Then after a few games after losing against the person, they try to play with you again and again until you lost a ton a trophies. Just letting everyone know. Stay safe!

I enjoyed the game with a few friends and family along with a couple of individuals that our skills were matched with the system. However after the most recent update I get the notifications of the longest daily word, in addition once an individual has challenged me to a game.

Needless to say I’m unable to open or access the game, or should I say I’m able to accept it however it NEVER connects its like it’s thinking continuously spinning or thinking but it never opens. I’ve even shut off the IPAD or rebooted to no avail I can’t get connected.

I’m thinking it must be system problems however I’m still getting notifications of pending games or I’ll lose if not played back within two days, you know the game rules. Can you share why I’m not currently unable to access and play the game?

So for those who are able to access or when I could, it’s addictive and love to play I’m now at a loss. I must find another game since this one is no longer available to me to play.

This game has a lot of promise, but playing in messenger instead of a simple to access app is frustrating. There are notifications to play even though the opponent hasn’t yet played. In fact, there is an immediate notification after playing. Many times I will have three or four notifications showing, all for Word Blitz. I only play with two other people on Messenger. Often none of those four notifications will allow me to open a game. Please fix this! I am ready to dump the game, although I suspect even that would not get rid of the annoying, continuous notifications.
