New 7x7 levels! If you thought 6x6 boards were hard, just wait until you try the 10 new 7x7 levels... These large word squares are extremely complex to create and near-impossible to solve. Good luck :)
iCloud Sync now available! Play on one device and continue on another. When enabled, all level progress will be synced between iOS devices signed in with the same Apple ID.
New Hint & Clue packages! Now you can stock up on hints or clues - or both! Rather than having an option to purchase only 10 at a time, now there are more options - including an Unlimited Hints & Clues Pass.

Challenging & Innovative
Although I have a history of accumulating games in a dusty folder, playing them for approximately one week, and then leaving them to rot; I have to say, this game does a spectacular job of holding my attention. It's definitely challenging, and not for the weak of heart - or weak of mind, to be perfectly frank. It's premise has been done before, but I think this app does it in a way that is refreshing.
Before I conclude this review, I'd like to say that I have a wide vocabulary and an adept mind, but on level 20-something... Well, I'm certainly not putting this game down anytime soon.

Challenging, a little clunky
Solid, challenging game, forces you to think of lots of possible word combinations. Hints help you through when you can't visualize any word words or you've given up. It's a good brain stretcher, with three minor issues: 1-letter switching should be possible between any two spots not just in one row or column. 2-if you solve one of the words correctly, show it solved, maybe even auto-fill the duplicate word to eliminate busywork. 3-after using a hint, show that letter as solved. Fix those minor issues and you're 5 stars.

The game is another game to pass the time away, But not redundant. Like other games.
I wish there was a theme to each puzzle of words so, you had something to go by but then that may make it easier. Anyway I really like the game. And yes there is always a BUT!

Good game
Good game but I HATE the burst of white light after a puzzle is solved. The abrupt changes from "regular" light levels to "burn your eyes blind" prevent any relaxing gameplay at night (kicking back, lights turned low, etc).
EDIT: Reducing rating from 4 stars to 1. I could tolerate the light burst, but the slow and finicky way to move tiles became intolerable. The point of the game (IMHO) is to solve the word puzzles so why make moving the tiles so effing laborious? Also, the "solved" tiles turn the same color as the "fixed" tiles, which means you get frustrated trying to swap tiles until you remember, oh yea, that one's fixed. Not worth the hassle -- deleted this game.

Addicting!
I'm extremely picky with puzzle games and usually drop them after a minute even if I paid for it. But this one is very clever and addicting. At first it's tough to figure out how to play but once you get it, you can't stop!

Challenging and fun
Easy to get frustrated even at the 4x4 level
but I love it! Set it down and pick up later. No time or move limits, no penalties for taking too long. PROS: Extra hints earned after completing levels. CONS: I agree with other reviewer re bright white scene when solved. Dimming screen does help a tad.

Well Designed
Just when you think you cannot go on you find one pair; it's highlighted and just can't quit. Suddenly, words you haven' used in awhile help complete the square.

Great Word Game!
Keeps you thinking and is a solid puzzler! Perfect for thinking word game fans. Those who complain about the price of hints just aren't creative or patient enough. ;) It's a challenge, sure! But not one hint is necessary for this game! 😊

Different yet fun.
I purchased this game and initially did not like it. I played around with it for a few minutes and once I got the concept, I absolutely loved it. Will definitely keep.

Smart addictive puzzles.
Very nicely designed game. Good visual and sound design. One criticism: it would be nice to be able to swap any two tiles instead of merely vertically or horizontally. Otherwise I think it's perfect.
