Word U is a fun, new, letter twisting, word puzzler. See how many words you can build from your pool of letters and move through the ranks of prestigious colleges. You will enjoy earning a graduation cap from hundreds of universities and as you get smarter, the words become more complex.

HOW TO PLAY
• Simply swipe along the letters to form words.
• Approved words will appear in your word gameboard.
• Are you a word genius? Spell harder words to earn bonus coins.

Great game for all ages

Looking for a game that my 93 yr old mother would enjoy—a woman who used to be able to do newspaper crosswords, I happened upon Word U. At first, it seemed too elementary but the game moves quickly into using more challenging words. I like the fact that when you guess words that aren’t used in the puzzle you still get credit that can be used later to buy a letter. That helps on the days when the brain is just not as agile. I’ve found that I use it too—a good game to pass time. I will be introducing Word U to my grandchildren when they’re a bit older.

Enjoyable

I love this game. I’m beginning my journey on your Word U game and thus far I’ve noticed a few glitches that I’d like to bring to your attention. The first issue is when playing the daily bonus round, I’ve noticed the round doesn’t accept more than one word per round on my end. Also, if I don’t give the daily bonus round the “correct” word, I’m not rewarded with coins, although I’ve found a word in the Oxford English Dictionary. One such such example of this issue is I’ve found the word “neat” before in the daily bonus round, but I’ve tried to use that specific word on more than one occasion and the bonus round won’t accept that word or any words that the app doesn’t see as “correct” words for the bonus round, even though the words I’m coming up with are used in the English language daily. My other issue at this point in time is the fact that the daily bonus round is timed. In the “features” section you mention there’s a daily bonus round, but there’s no mention of the fact that the bonus round is timed. Please take the timed feature off this game. I’d like to see more ways added, such as the added quests that were added on the last update of your game. Please fix these issues. Thank you.

Good Game, Needs Work

Update: I’m lowering my review to two stars. I’ve gotten to a point in the game where the words it is having me figure out have no definition. I’ve been playing Crossy and the regular game and both keep coming up with words that are not real words and when I click on them they have no definition. I’m going to uninstall now and sad to do so because I liked the format of this game. I can only assume the 4.8 star rating is from people who just downloaded and haven’t played long enough to run into these issues.

I like this game and have been playing for a few days now. I’ve come across some issues that are frustrating and that add some confusion to the game. For example, when you get far enough into the game they start using acronyms as words. These shouldn’t be used in a word game. Also when you accidentally touch the letter box or miss a letter while swiping, there is no way to cancel that motion. This immediately means you will not get a perfect round and is a bit frustrating.

Overall the game is not bad and can be very addicting. I hope they change the acronym thing as it adds a lot of confusion to what is a word and what represents a word. It also makes getting a perfect round impossible on those levels.

Enjoy it

I would like to mention a few things that I would add to this game. It would be nice if at the end of each round you gave the option of looking at a list of possible words left unguessed. Also I think it would be fun if the words were native to the university listed. Like Florida should be Florida words, maybe Methodist U. Could be bible words etc.... But all in all I am really enjoying your game. Thank you !

Increase the difficulty

When achieving the levels and graduating from the different universities, you need to increase the difficulty of the levels and words. Every puzzle is seemingly the same. In order to keep players interested, you have to make the puzzles more challenging each university or at least each region. Go from 3 letter words at the start to 4 or 5, something to spark a desire to advance! Just a suggestion. Also, include the crossy portion of the game to the ways to advance to the higher levels. Why play the advanced version if it doesn't help you achieve graduating and moving forward?

Fun word game

I love these word games and I like the fact that you can play traditional or crossword style. My only complaint is that the letters seem to repeat themselves so that you’re making the same words over and over. I would think that with the millions of words in the English language that there would be more of a variety.

“Word to you”

This is a really fun App! I love the two-games-in-one nature of it. Game is quite challenging to. I even like the music and the set up of the game; It’s easy to use and looks nice too. Too much time taken!

Would be a good little game to pass time. That one ad I had to watch over and over and then too long without any way to turn it off. I was noT interested in that game at all to be forced to watch it. Could’ve been a better experience since I love word games and always looking for new ones. Fix that and it’s 5 stars!

Only took a minute to fall in love

This is a great game. Within seconds after opening this app, I was flying thru the levels and relaxing my mind. I made it thru level one in about 2 minutes. I look forward to level two.

Disappointed

This is the second time I have started this game and I really liked it at first. Both times I have gotten to a certain point in the game and it plays one of the HUNDREDS of ads and locks up! The only way to get out of this (and I have left it for days thinking that just maybe it would reset) is to uninstall the game and install it again. But doing this you have to start from zero AGAIN! Going to look for another game. Totally disappointed with this one!
