Suggestions For Next Update
I noticed that the game got updated, and I love these new QOL improvements. I have always hated not being able to see the board after I finish a game and I’m so glad you added that.

However, I think this could be taken a step further. With the “history page,” this should probably be easier to get to. I know there aren’t a lot of buttons to choose from, but the icon indicating the history page is not very clear that it’s a history page/stats page. The stats and history page may make more sense to be on separate pages, but my main suggestion is allowing us to sort our history by date, score, grade, or number of guesses. This way I can see in a glance what my best and worst games were. One more thing to add would be the ability to click on the game to see the board. The share button is nice, but I want to be able to see the board of the time I got an F grade with only two guess. Or the time I got an S grade with 6 guesses. I want to be able to look back on games through the history tab. Where it stands, I have little to no reason to go to the history tab because it doesn’t really help me remember games, and screenshot thing every game that I find interesting is such a janky way of saving them. Plus it fills up my phone with screenshots I don’t want.

Anyway, love the game, love the most recent updates, but just a few suggestions on making it better.
Klc214,
Love This Game!
I’ve changed my review to 5 stars since it seems they have worked out all the glitches. I really enjoy this game, having played it when I was a teen. My only suggestion would be to allow us to see a total score for ourselves based on all our plays. The only one I can find is the Global stats that last for 24 hours. But that’s about it. It is great, and I love it!

Great game but not yet perfect
This was my favorite implementation so I spent the money to unlock no ads. But I find a few details frustrating:
1) the keyboard is laggy on my iPhone XS Max. It often misses keystrokes and I need to slow down my typing deliberately to have it input correctly
2) I hate the vibrations on keyboard press and don’t see an option to turn it off
3) the game has frozen up a few times. One time my phone had to be hard reset to recover. I didn’t think Apple would allow this to happen but it’s never happened to me while running any other app
4) It bothers me that the New Game button on the main menu moves after loading some information from network / Game Center. Sometimes it causes me to tap the wrong button. It would be better to reserve some space for the Share Wordi button or to keep it in a disabled state while waiting for the data to load.
Oaklandcoaster,
Strange that this game gives you a grade
I’ve had this game for a few days and have played it around 15 times. noticed that at least some of the words are at least vaguely Biblical, including “Bible“ and“smite“. no positive or negative comment about that but just FYI.
What I do find strange and amusing is that for every game you play, you get a letter grade. I can understand that if you’re being tested on knowledge of a subject, but it’s strange to be graded on a guessing game. I realize there is some logic to subsequent guess is after the first guess, because some letters generally fit together better than others, etc. but it is very odd that the game grades each game that is played.
FWIW, I did fairly well, but it’s bizarre that you apparently can get an “A” because you happened to guess correctly.
I think I’ll look for another similar game.

Glitch report—misspelled answer
I wanted to contact the developer/creator to report a misspelled answer word, but I’m not a Twitter user, which seems to be the only way to contact him. “Fibre” was presented as the answer in my last game. The game gives definitions of each Wordi answer, plus usage. But in the sentences where “fibre” was used, it was consistently spelled “fiber,” not “fibre.” For all I know, “fibre” is a British spelling, but 75 games in, I’ve never seen any other British spellings of words. So…please don’t mess up my stats with misspelled answers! Other than this, I absolutely love Wordi and play it all the time. The *only* thing about Wordi I dislike (besides the glitch I just reported) is the silly grades. Please eliminate them or make them optional.
MartyLouWho,
Great games, needs a few fixes
I really like this game, but there are a few problems. Says there is a random starting word, but I have yet to see a starting word. I have to put in my own starting word and go from there. Would be nice if the grading system was explained. I get the basic letter grades, but what is S? It would also be nice if there was an explanation of how the grades are determined. I got a word on the third guess, in less than 60 seconds but got an F? What’s that about?? And why isn’t there a reset function. Now that I’ve gotten the hang of things, I would like to reset my game so that I can start over. If these few small things were fixed, would be a perfect game in my book!
Roki1981,
Would be more fun with current words
I like this game a lot. However, it should use words that are in circulation. I am a 65 year old college graduate and an avid fiction reader. I have yet to come across “cates: delicious food” or “dilly: a type of stagecoach”. Are these from 200 years ago? After all there aren’t many stagecoaches currently used.

Maybe it’s that these 2 words were less than 10 games apart. But if they continue to pop up I’ll switch to another game. Please use words that are currently used by people.

Suggestion
I really like this game a LOT. It’s like the game Mastermind, but with words. The only thing that I think it’s lacking is the ability for the player to “see” the letters in the spots that they believe they should be in without selecting a letter for the unknown spot, which throws me off.

By adding a * key for the players to test the position of the known letters (receiving the same response as the ‘not a word’ if accidentally submitted), the player could physically visualize the known letters in the order that they believe they are in.
Ex. Known: R A N
I could place the temporarily place the letters in the spots so that it would look like this:
* R A * N
From this, I can hypothesize that the word could be Brain, Grain or Drain.

I hope that I have explained my point clearly. It would just be helpful for the player to physically see it (IMO, this would make it a 5/5). 🤷‍♀️ Thank you!!
gkontiveros,
Word choices are questionable
I like this game. From a functional standpoint this app works fine. It’s not glitchy and I can play lots of games without getting interrupted with unwanted ads. My only complaint is the number of nefarious words that it offers up as solutions. They have been prevalent enough that I have noticed a trend. I will try another similar app. It’s a personal preference, but I prefer not to be solving for evil and violent words.
WalksSoftly,
Must be a work in progress
I just now downloaded this while waiting for my flight to Florida. Hoping I can play it offline like it says . Played first game and can not see the tiles that I’m supposed to fill with letters. Everything is black until you start typing. Maybe an option would be to change background color or tile color so they can be seen easier? This game is similar to one title Wordle that is found online. At least that one has more colorful tiles but this one you can play multiple games instead of waiting every 34 hours
