Description

Help Emma renovate her Grandpa’s beautiful old mansion and follow her story as she tries to bring this manor together. Design the interior and exterior of the house and choose between elegant decorations to give a unique feel to the house!

Solve crossword puzzles to progress in the story! Beat and complete these crossword levels to unlock new chapters and new rooms to renovate and decorate! Explore the manor’s garden or the garage, renovate the library and create your own party room to celebrate!

Adventures are around every turn, including a little bit of romance.

The game features all sorts of excitement:

The old mansion is in desperate need of a makeover. Emma can’t do it alone. You can show off your decorating skills by choosing various components for the bedroom, living room, kitchen, garden, and more. Maximize the fun by being in control of all of the design decisions. You’ll get to pick and choose many of the new items that go into the manor, ensuring that you have a say on the final appearance.

As soon as you solve your first crossword puzzle, you are on your way to help Emma fix up the old mansion and turn it into your dream house!

Try this app!
This my FAVORITE game to play. If you’re like me and like challenging word games and home design, then you will love this game. There aren’t that many ads as you would think.

A few things I want to say. First, in word challenges it gives you a choice to watch an ad to spin a wheel for a reward. And what I like about that is one of the options is $5. Another option is $50, and $100. There also a variety of different hints.(You will understand what I mean if you get the game.) Second, It gives you a choice to play and earn tasks or play for coins. I love that because sometimes I don’t just want to upgrade aid the time, and the word puzzles are very fun. Third, sometimes they give you ridiculously small tasks, like opening a box, or putting books on a shelf, when I want to do the fun stuff like putting in new wallpaper, or picking out some new chairs.

Overall, I think this is a good app, and you should try I out. And like with any app, if you don’t like it, just Delete it.

Pretty Good
Moves a little slow. Need to update the choices for furniture (inside choices,) flooring, most of the styles are pretty out of date. Love the outside and it’s choices, except one thing ....the bridge over the pool. Way out of scale and pretty gaudy. It just doesn’t match and it hides the beautiful pool. All personal opinions 🙂. I do find myself playing it everyday. I enjoy the word puzzles, all except the crazy few with like 20 letters available. I love design and I like being able to get a bit creative at the same time with playing the word puzzles to earn at least a choice on the home finishings 👍🏼

UPDATED REVIEW: I have played it to as far as I can go for some time....so obviously I enjoy it! Honestly, if you like working out word scrambles you will be fortunate to have this download in your arsenal..... add free is worth the small investment to play many many hours without interruption. There are updates every two to three weeks once you have run out of being able to build and continue design and decor. Meaning I REALLY miss the reward of going back in and the fun of the story line continuing and getting to make creative choices. I have no idea what is involved as a creator to keep expanding your game, but honestly...... the snail pace or lack of providing new choices in the building/decor portion of the game promotes boredom

This app was great when I first started playing it but now it’s just kind of all over the place. First you start out on the porch which is normal. Then the living room. Then you go back outside to a fountain and then some statue. Then you go back inside to this reading area off the living room. Then you go to your bedroom. Then back outside. Then you unpack boxes. And then you’re in the kitchen?!! You don’t finish one area completely before moving onto the next it’s all over the place and it becomes annoying. On top of that, the further you get into the game the more ads that pop up. And lastly, the tasks require more stars VERY FAST. By day 2 I was needing 3 stars to complete a task. Now I’m on day 7 or 8 (can’t remember which before I uninstalled it) and I’m needing 5 stars to complete all of my tasks. Add on the fact that every single time I open the app an ad pops up and won’t go away unless I watch all 35 seconds of it. It was fun in the beginning but now it’s just annoying to even get on the app. A side note: there’s a glitch in the game that causes the girl to random lift her leg and spin around the room. Has happened in both the living and bedroom only so far. Uninstalled and wouldn’t recommend if you actually want to play a game for a while.

Great game!!!!!
I love this game because it’s not like the rest of them where they trick you with mini games and it ends up being like candy crush. Where u need to spend money on boosters and power ups to move forward. This game is exactly what it said it would be. And you don’t have to spend a dime if you don’t want to. The only thing I don’t like about this game is you spend so much time and stars working on the outside. I have yet to reach the second floor which is what I’m most excited about. It would be nice if we could choose to work outside or inside after the first floor and the front and back yards are finished. I’m tired of using all my stars to clean leaves and put cleaner in the pool or place fountains. I just had to use 12 stars to plant one tree. That’s incredibly frustrating. Other than that this is a great game to pass time and nowhere near as frustrating as the rest of the games like this where your playing candy crush. Kudos to creators

Good game when tasks to do
I just started playing this game I moved over from word villas since they totally ruined that game with their last update and so far I am really liking it since it reminds me of what word villas used to be when I first started playing that game. I really enjoy this game hopefully they don’t go ahead and make too many changes that end up ruining it. I am just glad I found this game if you enjoy word games that are relaxing and fixing things up this game is for you. Update: I finished all the tasks a while ago and it says more tasks coming soon but I am losing faith that this game will get anymore tasks to do since all they seem to care about now is those separate rooms they do that only last for a certain amount of days, those things are not as fun as doing the tasks so I gave up on doing those and I guess I will wait around for a few more months to see if any more tasks are added before I just get rid of the game, I am not going to hold my breath that new tasks will be added, this game was enjoyable when stuff to do not so much anymore.

The best game app out there!
Thank you to whomever created this Wordington app! I absolutely adore it! You don't need to make us spend a lot to have fun and you don't force buying/spending down our throats. I'm also grateful for the way the decorations are created, set up via word puzzles instead of shooting and/or hitting colored balls etc. like all the other app games. I think in today's society especially, to have people, especially kids, have spelling words as means to an end is really great. So many American kids can't seem to spell , write, think, know vocabulary. You have a great "system" for teaching kids these important skills while also making the game fun. Many thanks for hours of learning and enjoyment! The decorating is also fun and easy to do! I am grateful for the opportunity to have Wordington in my stack of apps! It is #1 with me and my family! Thank you thank you thank you!!!

Enjoyable, but needs some work
Honestly this game is a million times better than the match 3 games. I just want to decorate and each game is much easier and much less frustrating to play. However, even tho it’s easier to get through, I think it’s honestly ridiculous how many stars one thing costs at a time and for really unnecessary things like baking cookies and all the stuff for Max. At that point it becomes more tedious than fun. There is way too much stuff to do for the dog especially for how many stars you need for each thing. It’s also kind of annoying how I can’t always choose the look of things like the design/color of the dog house or the piano for example. The swatches for things are ok, but could be better. Ads are way to often as well and I read paying for no ads doesn’t really work so that’s really annoying. One last thing is the bonus words. Sometimes a word works and sometimes it doesn’t. That should be fixed. Despite all of the negatives I do really enjoy this game and would 100% rather it over the match 3 games for sure!

Finally a word game with a story!
2nd Update: Now the game crashes constantly and,of course, there is no way in the game to contact the developers within the game. Also, the number of games you have to play to do a task seems excessive - 6 games to do one thing is a lot. knocking off some stars until the crashes are fixed. Too bad, this could have been a great game but if nothing changes I may have to delete it.

Update: How does the game determine if a bonus word is accepted? There does not seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. Sometimes the game accepts an odd word and other times it will not accept a common word like treat. What gives. It would also be helpful to have a place to see what bonus words have already been accepted. Finally, why is there no link to customer service within the game. I would pay for no ads but since other reviews have mentioned paying and still getting ads, I don’t want to pay and then have no way to contact customer support if there is a problem. Had to knock off a star in my rating for these reasons.

I am loving this game so far. It is about time that someone came up with a word game that has a story and lets you decorate a house.

Mediocre Game
I gave this game 3 stars, just barely... it was pretty good at first, but first of all a crossword puzzle to me has hints like “where is the Whitehouse located?” This is word placement. That’s minor, I like both, just say it like it is. The Main complaint I have is spending So much time outside! I’ve been playing for a while, I keep thinking we’ll go back inside became if that’s what you call redecorating, you don’t get it.
You could offer us a chance to not to do so much, especially the bridge (who puts a bridge that size-they were all ugly). And enough with the flowers, 3 stars for 4 different spaces, that are all one big flower bed - on one side of the house then you have to do it again on the other side? I think I’m through. It’s not a Bad game, just say what it is - a yard and flower game.

It’s still the same, except the words are getting harder. The only reason I’m updating is because it wouldn’t let me keep going without coming here. I didn’t get an acknowledgement from the first time so why they wanted to hear from me again I have no idea.

Where are the extra words
I appreciate the word practice and strategy practice in this game. A few things come to the top when I'm stumped on a word or two. When solving a puzzle, some puzzles give credits for extra words found that are not part of the puzzle. Not all the puzzles allow the extra points. I want credit for extra words in all the puzzles. I have also noticed that not all (even basic English) words possible are accepted when a puzzle is accepting extra words. I do not like the guy-friend staying overnight. Where is the girl next door she used to play hopscotch in the garden & climb trees with? I do not mind most of the games on the free version and my kids enjoy some of the ads. However, I am on the verge of deleting this game due to advertised games, "Chapters", being completely inappropriate. The educational & boredom value of this game is not so replaceable that I will continue to take the chance on my children's soul.
