The pool hall and carousal was on sale. I can only buy these sale items with green bucks. Friends of mine play but they were given the options of buying these sale items with coins or green bucks. But I can only buy these sale items with green bucks. The only reason I feel that I don't also have the option of buying with coins like my friends is because I had purchased green bucks before and my friends haven't. I really don't feel that is fair to me. If this is the case I won't be buying anymore green bucks anymore if that is the way this game is played. Is there a way that it can be changed so I will have that option of buying with coins or green bucks again. This is very frustrating. Also, my husband plays it on his iPad and since green bucks were purchased he doesn't get the option of coins or green bucks on sale items.

Update...FORGET THIS GAME! I played for months, was gone awhile and when i went back to it my game was reset‼ this game was ok but not fun enough to start over when my progress is randomly deleted!

Fun...but...needs help. The fact that you can only use gifts from friends on certain lands is a real pain especially since most things go to the first land which is so overcrowded already i dont think ill be able to finish quest. On top of this you cant store half the things so again space consuming. You cant rotate buildings once they are placed, nor can you move the original builders huts. The wild west town it is beyond stupid not only how long it takes for emergency services to get anyway, made worse by the fact you have to sit online and wait for it to get there or it doesnt count. The vineyard continually has some stupid glitch that says emergency services cant access a building even when its right next door! The thanksgiving event, why in the world it only worked on the first land and cant be placed in wild west town is idiotic! First its indians and colonial buildings which looks silky in a modern town, second the first land is ridiculously over crowded! Ive contacted them about most of these issues, sadly nothing changes. Could be a 5 star game but as it stands 2.5 is what id give it

This game is so much fun. I disagree with the comment above regarding it being too expensive. I haven't spent a dime, but maybe I'm unusually patient with games like this. Also, it's much more generous than other building games I've seen (like Jurassic and Clash of Clans). I do agree with the comments that there's not enough land to build on; there need to be more maps to expand to. One cool aspect of this game is the way you travel to other users' towns to help them. The graphics are great, and the buildings are fun. There are several aspects of the game that are a little mysterious, and puzzlingly, there are no forums out there about it. Overall, highly recommend.

I've been playing this for a while now. It's fun, especially since there are so many 'towns' you can build. My biggest complaint is when you are 'gifted' items, they only work for the main town, you can't use them in other towns. I wish they'd change that. Of course, with any 'free' game, they try to get you to spend money. Some buildings you cannot get unless you're have 'X' amount of dollars, which are slow to accumulate....and I mean sloooooow to accumulate so they want you to 'purchase' dollars. I just won't do it. Other than that, it's a fun game, you make friends quickly. I like the graphics, and they add holiday themed items when appropriate, but Christmas was late.

From all the app games, this one was the first I feel I accomplished my objectives. I played this game every day and looked forward to playing it. It is simple, straight forward without any surprises and a push to purchasing extra stuff.

My suggestion would be:
- neighbors able to post a comment about your design of the island
- The more attractive the island, the more visitors added to hour population. I see people simply throwing buildings anywhere just for the numbers. Some kind of incentives that motivates us to design the island with some logic and beauty.
- It would be cool to have those people walking around actually comment about your island, and those comments actually coming directly from your neighbors. I, as a neighbor would love to see my self walking in other islands and seeing my little person giving comments I actually posted to my neighbor. The neighbor could reject comments also

This game is fun to play if you like games like CityVille or City Story. The graphics are the best I've seen in a city building game. But you can get through the game in about 3 weeks. The game board is small, the game locks you out of building anything new when you upgrade the castle and upgrading the castle can take over 2 days. You can get stuck where all you're doing is trying to earn enough coins or goods to upgrade a single building- making the game become boring quickly. And then...you're done. You've run out of room or you've built everything or you've hit a ceiling that's not worth trying to get past because it'll take several days to surpass.

I really enjoy building & decorating games such as this one. I've had a lot of fun with it & can't wait to see the other lands.. however there's one thing I'm irritable about.

I'm only in the first area & starting to get irritated because you give us all these buildings but not enough space. I can't even finish some missions because of it. I want to be able to decorate with flowers & things, but it's impossible if you want all the buildings. What gives? Let us buy some land expansions or something like other games because this is ridiculous.

The only downside to this game is that one must purchase items, or be extremely patient while you build up supplies, coins & mayor's cash. It would be great to introduce challenges to earn coins or supplies that did not require a cash expenditure but rewarded you on your strategy & luck. I know that making money is important to keep the game going, but there needs to be an option for those
us that have no extra funds.

This is a really fun and relaxing app; however, I'm hoping the developer will listen to all of us and allow expansion of the land. I only gave this app 3 stars because of that. I'm running out of room quickly and have had to put stuff in inventory to make room for other items that are rewarded, gifted, or unlocked. The resort looks to crowded unless we are allowed to expand. PLEASE ALLOW US TO EXPAND!!!!! The road leading to the CASTLE is wasted space since the app won't allow decorations or anything to be placed along the road. My whole family plays this game, but it's becoming 'not enjoyable' because of space limitations.

Frustrating because it costs so much to build residential in order to upgrade the castle, and I had over 1600 population and came back today and was back to 1427 population...what happened to my people. I was building up money for the castle that I HAD 1600 people that I needed, then suddenly, less people. I knew I had the correct amount of people because I was working hard to build up the required cash. Ugh. Ugh ugh ugh....wait, I just went back to the game again and my people were back...what's up with that...glad my people are back...thank you
