Description

Turn your iPad into a digital photo frame for the webcams of the world. This way you can stay in touch with your home, famous places of the world, the current traffic conditions and much more by watching your favorite web cams on your iPad.

The WorldWatchr application makes it easy to monitor web images which are continuously updated (like web camera pictures). It can cycle through all your cameras and updates the images periodically. You can use drag and drop to rearrange the images.

The images don't have to be produced by webcams. You can monitor any image which is updated over time like weather radars, traffic maps and so on.

ngranz,
lame not worth it
this app cannot find and add web cams. you have to find them in safari and then cut and paste the URL into the app.

how lame is that?
Beesnilo,
Working (mostly) on M1 & M2 MBP - Still Love it!
WorldWatchr has been one of my favorite Apps/widget for years and years. In fact, I previously refused to update to Catalina because Apple got rid of Dashboard Widgets and I didn't want to give up WorldWatchr! Now I have an M1 & M2 MBP and I can use iPad apps!
BIG ISSUE: I cannot Add any NEW URLs on my M1 or M2 MBPs. After tapping the Add button and if I click in either field (Title or Image URL) the App immediately closes.
The only way I got it to work at all on my new M2 MBP was to copy the app Pref files (and some other files that I can't remember) from the older M1 MBP.
All of my issues started with MacOS Ventura.
jed02,
Does not work
I have the desktop widget of this app. It works. This app does not. It goes out but cannot get the cam images.
appilious,
waste of time and money
it's slow, not intuitive, expensive and swamped with ads. the worst so far.
Clackrack,
World watch h d
This is the worst app on the system, don't waste your money, very very poor. I have to rate this so O is fitting but not allowed.
