Fluency and strategizing
I'm a teacher and see the benefit to this being un-timed (while many other games out there are timed and therefore don't nurture thoughtful strategizing). Even still, number sense and fluency are developed when playing. I got hooked for an hour! I agree with the previous reviewer who found Invention room 23 impossible to achieve 3 stars - an easy bug fix no doubt. Thank you for creating this game and I can't wait to recommend it to my students this coming year!

Excellent Math App
This app and the Wuzzit Trouble Math Junior app both truly earn the five stars: the terms "dynamic, fun, and effective" pretty much sum them up. I've taught hundreds of students in math, and each semester I've got new math learners (various ages and competency stages). I refer my students to both apps and my students thank me because these apps provide them with a very solid addition to their toolkits. Thank you, on behalf of my students :)

Great concept, needs work to effectively teach multiples.
I truly love the concept of this app. The wuzzits are adorable. The idea of multiplying to save the wuzzit in the least amount of moves is great. My problem is when the "negative" turns are introduced...this is teaching our kids that 6 x -2 equals 55, for example, which isn't even a multiple of 6. This app would be much more valuable in terms of educating on multiples if there was an option to change the numbers on the lock without changing the positions of the keys, or even change the directions the numbers are ascending and descending on the lock. This would challenge kids to use the correct multiples, thus preventing them from learning that 6 x -2 is 55.

Great Look, Lacks Difficulty
The look of the app is fantastic it's very clear and easy to use attractive even however it's boring and they are only going in one direction or the other you get to use little bit of skill in thinking about how many times you need to do this but because your finger needs to stay on the app the entire time if you mess up it's not something easily fixed so that's frustrating my son is six years old and he didn't find it exciting.

Great game. Good to see a game that is engaging and actually educational. My 7 year old has been playing it for the past half hour and is totally into it, and at the same time is clearly thinking to figure out optimal gear strategy. My 5 year old is just going guessing as she goes, but that's fine too as she's learning without knowing it. As for me, I'm definitely into it as well. Way to go Inner Tube.

Not just for kids!
While I definitely hope my daughter will play this and grow her thinking skills, I'm finding it useful for myself as well! I really enjoy going back to the problems I thought were hard in an earlier level and finding them much easier.

Utterly addictive.
The puzzles are fun. The wuzzits are adorable. The sound design is great - very satisfying sound effects. (I'm an audio geek). The difficulty scales up at a perfect pace. Not too fast for my 9:30pm brain. But not so slow I feel I'm going back in time. This is not just for kids for sure. Now I need to remember to put it down!

Inspiring
I downloaded this app after a presentation by Keith Devlin on mathematical interfaces. My experience seeing people waste away time on pointless games has been troubling, but this game gives me hope for the future of education, and gives me drive to pursue a career having the same impact as Devlin has.

Enjoyable way to learn math skills
This was a great game. I found it to be challenging, even as an adult, but entertaining.
The only flaw was a small bug. #23 in the Invention room was an unsolvable solution for the 3 stars rating.
Still, this game is an amazing tool for teaching children math skills subconsciously, while they are having fun.
