bobbie gogo,
Xbplay error
When I try opening the app by login in and going to the remote play option it keeps saying there is a network connection error and make sure u are connected plus restart the app. Can someone help me?
Ambulater,
Potential to Increase Star Rating
I could see giving xbPlay 5 stars except for one thing. XbPlay provides a very smooth, nearly lag free, remote play experience between my Steam Deck or iPhone and my Xbox Series X. It even includes pretty good touch screen controls on the iPhone. In those respects, the experience is way superior to remote play through Microsoft’s Xbox app for iOS which can get pretty choppy.

Unfortunately, when my Xbox is in stand-by mode and the TV is off, xbPlay will connect to my console, but only shows a black screen. I can hear UI clicks as I navigate around, but can’t see anything on my iPhone or Steam Deck until I turn everything on in my entertainment center including the TV. Once I do that, xbPlay displays fine on my remote device, but that kind of defeats the purpose of remote play. In this regard, Microsoft’s app is superior because I don’t need to be home to use it. The MS app connects to and displays what’s on Xbox while in stand-by mode, whether or not the TV is on.

So I can use the MS app from anywhere, but can only use xbPlay app if I’m at home and can turn the TV on. Still okay for sitting out on my porch and playing I guess, but only two stars for now unless I find out there is a fix.
ZyFanatic,
I never write reviews but this is insane
I play Rust on my Xbox one. And let me tell you, if you have an iPhone 12 or above this is by far the best and I mean the BEST streaming I have ever used. When I have tried other apps and the Xbox beta app in the past I’ve experienced nothing but delay. But holy moly man. There is such little delay it feels fantastic. My monitor recently broke and while waiting for my new one this app has allowed me to grind with the boys and have some great laughs. If you’re looking to stream your Xbox to your iPhone you need to get this app. I’ve never had such an amazing streaming experience. I was so excited and I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. Amazing app, great job devs. Much love to you guys.
Kyle Corgi,
Works well on steam deck
Primarily got this to stream from my Xbox to steam deck. Works great and worth the $5 for ease of use and setup. I know there are free options out there, but this was set up in 5 minutes and no hassle.
I would recommend upping the trial time limit, as I barely got everything set up and a game running before it ended, but no complaints otherwise.
nicknamenamenaem,
My apologies
The app looked like a scam and I thought it was that but I made a fake account hooked it up to my old Xbox then started to connect it and it worked it is an amazing app that looks like a scam which it just needs new updates to the ui and some of the reviews do look fake but it’s something I will let slide
5Sins.,
Great for Steam Deck
I use this app exclusively for playing my Xbox series X on my Steemdeck. I have my Xbox set up in the game room and this allows me to play it in any room that I’m at. The Steemdeck controls work negatively without any issue, and as a little tip, the start and select crest simultaneously, and released rapidly acts as the Xbox button.
Ska8 4 life man,
Major lagging
This app is amazing. I’ve been waiting for the day for me to be able to stream my games on my phone. But I’m streaming my Xbox one to my iPhone, and I have major lag even in 720fpc. I would like to know if there is a way to fix this. Other than that the app is awesome. Hope to see more updates in the future.
Kloytan28,
Better than official
This third party cloud gaming app lets you play any game with touch, and there’s not much ads, on 1 per 30 minutes which is not that bad, overall I like to play mortal kombat vs dc universe on this thing and I think it’s worth checking out!
ShoesOnTheCeiling,
Gets the job done
Not the prettiest interface, but the streaming works perfectly and the quality is way better than the official Microsoft app!
Ripley231,
Suuuper annoying
After multiple attempts to login I can’t get past the loop of my phone switching to the Authenticator (so I can approve the login) only to have this app reset itself because I switched apps.
Basically I cannot log in but the app won’t hesitate to shove ads in my face while I tried to do so.
