Xcaret is Xtraordinary
Visited Xcaret for a day with my husband. We had a marvelous visit. We purchased the photo package as well as the under the sea experience.
It was amazing walking the seaboard, the divers guiding us were excellent and made the experience even more enjoyable.
The picture package was fun. All the camera were in the best most scenic locations and it helped to get lovely pictures.
The buffet was OK but would prefer the ala cart option. It’s great for big families with children as there was a variety of foods to choose from.
The night show was spectacular. Such a rich history portrayed in a colorful and enjoyable atmosphere.
My suggestion for the show would be to possibly not be so long. Some of the dances from different regions could be scattered during the day in certain locations of the park.
After spending the entire day in the sun and enjoying all the park has to offer a 2 hour show could be too much especially for small children who probably don’t understand the history and evolution of Mexican culture.
Overall this is a must experience for the entire family.
Would certainly visit again.

Bad service
I went on January 3rd to Xplor park. Purchase a picture package that they offer by showing you really good quality videos. They said it would be available the next day and only some pictures were NOT the “360” videos. It took them until January 11 to respond back to me sending links that didn't show the videos still. When I finally got my video I am so surprised to see the BAD quality of the video. In the videos the image is repeated on both sides. That is not "360".
And at the bottom it's all distorted. My face, arms, everything. That is called FALSE ADVERTISING. Show something and not sell it. I repeat again, This video is not like the one shown as an example and I would like my money back. We are not at all happy with the product. Apart from the problems that we have already had from the beginning, not being able to access the videos and having to wait 8 days after our visit to get a response from you. I have now requested a refund over email and have been ignored .

Review of XCARET!
My family and I come from New York City. We came to XCARET on vacation. It is very beautiful and very well maintained. They are super very clean and using all precautions and prevention of Corona Virus. They require masks all the time except when eating there delicious buffet food.
They enforce and offer you Gel sanitizer everywhere also social distancing is all over the park. Everyone is compliant and staff is very nice! Excellent park. The show are worth every dollar spent and more. They are professional and spectacular. The buffet is fresh and delicious. We swam with the dolphins and it was a remarkable experience that we shall never forget. Thank you XCARET! For making my family happy during these COVID-19 times!

In my 38 years of being alive and visiting world renown theme parks l have never received the most incredible customer service like I did at these parks. The staff is amazing very polite, very energetic, they definitely make the experience worth everything .just flawless...also I have never been to a park that is built in a natural habit . I cannot say enough good things about the staff the food the attractions.. if you go you will not be disappointed.

Horrible experience trying to retrieve pictures
I purchased an inclusive package to the xavage park and was told we could purchase pictures afterwards with no further instructions. When I first arrived they tried to pressure us into buying $90 video package for 2 people for the speed boat. They didn’t mention how to retrieve pictures at all. I called the customer service line and they requested a helmet number. NO ONE told us that we needed a helmet number!! They said they would send us all the pictures and we could manually go through them ourselves. The customer service rep was rushing me off the phone and she told me she couldn’t send the email right now because she’s busy. NEVER AGAIN!!

Very useful app with 1 disappointment.
Found the app very useful in planning our Xcarat trip. Great for prioritizing our activities. Kind of wish prices were provided on experiences with additional costs.

There was NO MENTION of height restrictions within Xplor however when we arrived we were told our 5 year old wouldn’t be able to participate in anything. After complaining a bit and mentioned how the app misguided us the check in lady said maybe there was a few things she could participate in. My husband and I switched off the activites we wanted to do and then went on the River Cave Raft as a family.
UNDER RESTRICTIONS FOR XPLOR NEEDS TO BE UPDATES WITH HEIGHT RESTRICTIONS. Especially where for examples it says Ambivious Vehicle: 2 adults & 2 kids. Thanks.

The park is nice but not renovated, I visited this park 10 years ago and everything still the same no new attractions, the underground river used to have beautiful colorful fishes and now is just a dark river with 0 fish at all. The river ride on the wooden boat is so boring that to get there seems to be a waste of time. The idea is beautiful but if is over exploited this place will be a memory of the past pretty soon.

The show was espectacular, fantastic… it was a truly manifestation of art, culture and real Mexico. Nevertheless, some Cuban people, that enjoyed the show were disappointed because we didn’t see our flag at the end of the show. Cuba and Mexico have a lot of history in common, we have been very tied to Mexico through the history. That was so disappointed.

Not Worth A Visit
Paid for the “plus” package. The website is not entirely clear, but you get one or two activities without paying more money. There are plenty of cultural displays, etc., but if you are looking for actual activities (more than floating a lengthy river and snorkeling) you’ll be paying hundreds more. Go somewhere else, visit a local beach, or relax at your hotel instead of waiting your money at this park. Other XCARET! Parks were incredible and we expected the same, but we’re leaving on the early bus upset and wishing we had done anything other than this today.

Lacks key features like tickets
It is painful to set up a user, and as they recognized, the app does not let you add the purchased tickets. You still need to bring PRINTED tickets and proof of purchase. Yes, you read well: PRINTED.
Activities are not updated. Many cancelled experiences like snubs and sea trek due to a choppy sea that was not too bad. Even the swimming in the “pozas” was not allowed, even that the sea was not really invasive.
The night show was changed from 7:00 PM (as announced in the app) to 5:00, masking our day much shorter than planned.
A place by Mexicans for Mexicans. Changing rooms small and poorly illuminated.
Back to the app, not easy to navigate. The map should be forefront, not so hidden.
Unless the developer fixes these things, my rating stays at 1 star, although the place is almost 5 stars (if everything would work the way it is announced)
