Great_mazinga,
Simple to use, saves phone battery.
I wanted a simple display with speed, ODO, ride time and the XOSS unit did all I wanted. I know several apps do this, but I wanted to save my phone battery for emergencies on longer rides. The device delivered everything I wanted and the ability to sync to the app was just gravy. App shows me a map of the ride and all the recorded ride data. I can even go back and look at previous rides to see progress. Really like the system. Provides a lot of value and functionality for reasonable price.

App consistently says “GPS Signal Lost” even though Device shows signal
Very frustrated with the XOSS app. After successfully pairing the app with 2 different computers (CYCPLUS and XOSS) and sensors, all appeared as if things were connected and working. I even got the GPS connection to work on both devices, although the XOSS instructions were not as complete as they should be.

However, the XOSS app (iPhone XS, IOS v14.8) consistently says “GPS Signal Lost” as soon as I start moving, even though the G+ shows a strong GPS signal. I’ve researched and tried everything I found online or that I can possibly think of, including Location Services, etc on the iPhone. I’ve not found any similar problem reported in web articles or product forums, and support from XOSS has been marginal at best. If I don’t get some real help and a resolution within the next day I’m going to return both computers and chuck the whole thing.

Again the problem appears to be with the XOSS app on the iPhone, not the XOSS G+ device
Red Hawk 28,
The best bike computer ever
I love the fact that I don’t have to put in tire size and align magnets with sensors at proper distances. You connect it to the bars, pair with your phone and go. It’s great and it tracks everywhere you go and the elevation, it will even show on a map your workouts. I Love it, great tool, I wish I had, had one years ago. I would not have wasted so much money on bike computers that are useless now.
Sethm11,
Little to no indoor support/glitches
Let me start off with all I want is to be able to track overall distance, average speed, current speed, and current cadence indoors. I do not need fancy graphics.

However, due to the app >record function utilizing gps and the auto pause feature it is not possible to monitor an indoor ride. Additionally, it seems none of the setting do anything like disabling auto pause or making it so the screen does not turn off.

If all these functions worked and the app could monitor an indoor ride the app would be an easy 5/5 stars.
Doradora13,
Great
Great basic bicycle computer. I recommend this whole heartily. Not fancy but plenty good if you just want to know speed, distance etc. I’ve had mine several years without any issues. I carry it in my jersey or pack and it takes up hardly any space.
YZFR1_Rider,
Not all that impressed
I can’t figure out if the device is messed up or this piece of software. When trying to sync my G+ bike computer it randomly doesn’t work. IE no data shows… not even how much storage it has used. Power it off and back on, restart the app. Even restart my phone sometimes before the data appears. The app seems to work fine without the bike computer and the bike computer seems to work right on no it’s own. The 2 together just randomly don’t work.
steeladonis,
Frustrated…
I have several M1 units that have historically worked well. However, the last ride failed to show up in the workouts list in the Xoss app. The ride does appear in the sync list and shows as synced, but following numerous resyncs and firmware upgrades, the workout simply will not appear.

Xoss tech support has been utterly useless after several attempts to engage with them, so unless you enjoy missing workouts, I suggest avoiding this product until they get their crap together…
Qmsimeon,
Poor reception sometimes
I live in Alaska. Most of f the time it works great, but when I’m further away from city centers, the devise is unreliable for speed, mileage, and connectivity. Large gaps in my adventures further afield are not accurately logged. If I’m moving through difficult terrain slowly, it does not log movement accurately. While moving at a reasonable pace (5mph+) in the city, it works great.

Hoping for a firmware update to resolve these issues.
ant_arktos,
Does the basics
And that’s all I was looking for. Speed, distance, clock, and odometer. Simple to install and use.

Overlaying my path in a map was an added bonus. Been using it a couple weeks and short of a water or physical calamity see no reason for it to end.
ItsMe :),
Cannot export routes to gpx or .fit
I’ve been using the G computer for over a year now and I love it. However, I purchased an additional gps-type device for my bike and want to use the same route simultaneously. Today, I found out that I cannot export the routes that I’ve created in the XOSS app. Very annoying to have to draw out the same route twice.
