From 11 Jul ’23, the minimum supported operating system by Home app will be increased to iOS 14. Newer operating systems come with significant improvements in features, performance, and security. Customers on older operating systems will still be able to use the apps but will not receive any new app updates until they update to the minimum supported operating system.

The HOME App navigation and content has been reorganised so highly used features such as messaging, bookings and finance are brought into the main navigation are for ease of use. Additionally, messages and notifications have been consolidated into one place, so users can find all messages and notifications in a central location.

Educators/Teachers utilize the playground product to generate learning plans for children in various formats. Parents can access the learning tables on both the mobile and web versions of the home app. The latest update allows parents to enable or disable notifications for the tables and comments, enabling them to respond promptly. Furthermore, this release includes several bug fixes and minor enhancements.

Now, they will be able to share plans created as tables with the parents directly to the Home mobile application. Multiple contacts -
The concept of hub guests existed on Home app currently is limited to collection and allows for confusion with the emergency contacts on the Office side. This whole experience has been improved for an intuitive end to end whereby the Home users can now authorise contacts for emergency, collection, medical, Excursion and Transportation all from the convenience of the Home app with the previous release. In this release, we have listened to the feedback and created seamless journey where there multiple children with multiple contacts in more than one centre in active or inactive statuses so that, the parent has the information easily visible to ensure their child's safety with the correct authorisation type for each of the contacts and children.

The home application as a part of the Parent Engagement Software (PES) is designed for the parents to stay connected with their children's health, safety, learning etc. when in the childcare centre. A key element of the journey and the educators to freely communicate with the parents and vice-versa. Adding to the recent release where parents via the home app can freely communicate with the educators/teachers using the home app, we are now releasing the notifications on the home to always be in the know of when communications are being sent that's relevant for the parent. This will ensure the parent who's using the home app never misses any communication.
