Not working for me
Overall the first time I was actually able to sign in, it was working well loved the entirety of the app, however after I stopped using it for the night I have not been able to log back in, I am entering my password correct and it just well let me press the sign in button and then just goes right back to wanting me to sign in again, tried uninstalling the app, no luck, changed passwords no luck, and there isn’t a way to report a bug issue over through that app or sign in page, so just frustrating after it was working, so 2 stars right now, if I can get my issue fixed would be a lot more

This App is not useful !
I downloaded the app and deleted the app after a week. It’s useless! First of all, you have to be connected to your “home” WiFi to see your recorded shows . Secondly, the app shows you a list of various shows that are “available” but when you click on a show or movie NOTHING happens even when you are connected to your home WiFi. I literally see all of the episodes available for viewing but can’t get them to play. Then there are those that I can see listed BUT I have to have Prime Video to watch . Umm , there is a Prime Video app so if I wanted to watch a Prime show why would I even need the Extreme app. They should trash this app and start over because it is useless .

Worthless as a streaming app if you travel
Other TV providers offer apps so you can stream your programming, that you are paying for, wherever you are, and on whoever’s internet you are connected. Not Mediacom. They require you to be connected to your Mediacom Wi-Fi. You can’t go to the neighbors and use their Wi-Fi. You certainly can’t be in a hotel somewhere and stream the cable you pay for on this app. And you can’t use a different internet provider at all. It’s only meant as a way for you to not run a cable through your house, but you have to have Mediacom internet for it to work.

Totally useless
I was told that I could stream remotely from my iPad using this app like I was able to with my prior ISP Spectrum. However, nothing works on this app. I called customer service and they actually recommended using other methods such as utube tv to stream!! Why would I pay twice for the same service…I couldn’t get her to understand why this be ridiculous. Admittedly, once you read the description on the app itself, it does say within your home….again, pretty much useless. The second that our small town has another ISP, I will change over. I sure miss Spectrum!

App Works as Described
Had trouble with it at first when trying to use my iPhone on my home network to watch TV. However once I connected to my home network and worked with it a bit - it worked. I choose browse for a tv listing of shows, then select “get show”, then watch now once it starts recording I select “watch now”. Not sure how well iphone will work on the road but will test out soon.

PC access to tv works on the road when connected to another network and log into Mediacom using Mediacom ID and Password.

Stopped working, no place to report issue
I used to love being able to watch my recordings from anywhere in the house, but the app stopped working on my iPad and iPhone (both with up to date iOS). There’s no in app reporting so I’m trying here. Error is “problem with streaming device,” says running start up might fix it. Running start up results in “setup problem. There was a problem connecting to your streaming device.”

Very unhappy both with this issue and with lack of in app reporting.

Doesn’t work.
Literally the most pointless app. It doesn’t work unless you are connected to your home wifi. The whole reason I wanted it was so that I could watch my shows when I was away from home. I asked mediacom customer service why anyone would even want this if they have to be at home to watch it anyway so you could just go watch your shows on tv? Stupid. It won’t even play my shows when I’m connected to my wifi.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I’m a brand new customer as of 3 weeks ago (no other choices) and have tried downloading and setting up as a NEW USER. The good news is, the app downloaded correctly from the Apple App Store. The BAD news is I can’t sign on as a NEW USER. I’ve deleted and downloaded again, no luck. Oh, my first BILL was incorrect also and I spent 1 hour talking with a customer service rep IN THE PHILLIPINES. News for you Medicom...there’s plenty of AMERICANS who need a job. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS APP OR COMPANY. STAY AWAY. Makes me realize how reliable Comcast/Xfinity really is.

Have to close and reopen app at least daily to be able to stream!
When it works, it’s great! But I’ve discovered that about daily I have to close the app (slide window off screen on iPad) and then reopen from the original icon (not the one on most recent line). I hope you can get this fixed soon. Haven’t tried this away from home so I’ll see how that goes...

Love it!!
Took a moment to connect but boom! I’m scheduling my shows from the road and taking them with me to watch on my flight. Love that I can live stream to my tablet and watch the game when I’m grilling out.
