Yazee is a traditional dice game designed for simple and fast play. A Yazee (5 of a Kind) is 50 points, but a second Yazee yields a bonus of 100 points. Yazee is easy to learn, but difficult to master. Hone your skills using a hint that reveals the optimal choices.
Loaded dice improves your odds of rolling a value of your choosing; it is possible to average nearly 500 points per game with loaded dice.

Great game for Yahtzee purists
I’ve been a lifelong Yahtzee player and just wanted a simple game I could play on my phone. I tried all of the top Yahtzee games in the App Store and they all had too many ads and I felt pressured to continue playing (rigged) matches to earn money and advance in the game.
This game is exactly what I want, and it should be higher in the App Store. It has a simple and intuitive UI and minimal banner ads (you’re not forced to watch videos between rounds). The algorithm they use for the random dice throws seems pretty accurate.
If you’re looking for multiplayer Yahtzee, this game isn’t for you. But if you’re just looking for an easy, quick way to play Yahtzee by yourself to kill some time, it doesn’t get much better than this.

Better than the “real” thing
Update: I have knocked my rating down from 5 to 4 stars because recently the game has been persistently nagging me to connect to Game Center. I have no interest in Game Center, but can’t find a way to tell the game to just leave me alone about it! Otherwise, my original review below from 6 years ago stands:
Forget the garbage official Yahtzee games on the App Store that bury the actual game in obnoxious distractions. This is the true game, pure and simple, with a bunch of great options to customize the experience (which you’ll probably want to do — the default settings need some tweaks), and no extra junk you don’t need. I’m 43, and my Yahtzee-loving mom is about to turn 70. We both used to like an official version that wasn’t updated to work with iOS 11. Neither of us can stand what that game has become. I tipped my mom off to this game instead and she took to it immediately! Pay to remove the ads (it’s worth it, and the developer deserves it) and enjoy.

Clean version of the game
Looking for a Yatzee app, I downloaded a competitor first - one of the top results. I played it for a while, but I got tired of the endless push for tournaments, in-app purchases and constant ads.
Looking for a cleaner version, I found Yazee. I really like it a lot, especially when compared to the other.
Clean graphics; minimum, unobtrusive ads that you can remove with a small purchase; smart features like hints and loaded dice; ability to customize the interface; good statistics screen.
I recommend this application if you are interested in the game itself.

Great way to improve your game!!!
This app is GREAT!! I stunk at Yahtzee until I got this app. I play again and again improving my technique and strategy. Some people say it is just a game of 'chance' however, this app provides you with the opportunity to advance your game. I play this game very fast so, to determine what to do with each roll improves each time I play. It's REALLY ADDICTING‼
On another note, I do not like to play with "buddies'. Because, I have to wait on them and/or they wait on me. I'm a parent of four teenagers and I play when I have the time (which is odd hours throughout the day and night).

The BEST Yahtzee in the App Store
This version of Yahtzee is far and away the best version in the App Store. It looks great and has a lot of customization options, so you can play with custom rules that you might be used to. It’s definitely worth the money to get the upgrade and eliminate the ads, but they’re not intrusive, so you can let them run at the bottom of the screen if you like.
Go ahead and get this, and for a unique variation, get Hizee by the same developer. It’s like Yahtzee, but there are some twists that give it even more strategy.

Great game.
I enjoy this game. Over 3275 games to date. My only complaint, if you want to call it that, I wish when you get yazee, it would set off some sort of bling (screen flash, fireworks, balloons, maybe just the work yazee in big letters) to indicate it and the score would auto fill the first time. I play with the sound off so I don’t know if it makes a sound when you get yazee. Otherwise it’s a great game. Works great and cheap to buy to get rid of the ads.

Terrific solo player version of Yahtzee
This is a terrific single player Yahtzee app. The interface is straightforward and uncluttered making for a smooth and quick game. The ad banner at the top is not intrusive and doesn't interfere with the game. If the developer could release a multiplayer version that runs this smooth they would have an instant hit.

My Favorite Solitaire Game!
Yazee is my Go-To game when I need relief from stress, even though it produces a different type of stress! While the roles are strictly a game of chance, the winning co es through scoring the rolls to get the maximum number of points. While my high score is only 622, I’m always trying to reach higher. It’s a great way to have fun.

Great solo game
Looking for a Yahtzee game I could play by myself and this is it! Plays the game the way it should be played without all the ADS! There is a small ad at the top that does not hinder game play and for $1.99 you can have it removed. This is Yahtzee without all the bells and whistles. Just what I was looking for! Thanks!

I have been enjoying this game very much! It’s simply elegant in its design! No extra idiot bells and whistles...just the straight forward game like I used to play as a kid (with real dice!)
I especially like that it doesn’t score til you actually touch the “score and roll” “button”.
