This application is a combined dictionary of “YBM All in All English-Korean Dictionary” and “YBM All in All Korean-English Dictionary” published by YBM Net, the leading language institution in Korea. It contains enormous number of headwords, words and examples including approximately 260,000 headwords and 60,000 idioms from the English-Korean Dictionary and 180,000 headwords and 240,000 examples from the Korean-English Dictionary.
- This is one of the best English dictionaries, with the compilation of all available vocabularies based on Si-sa Elite English-Korean and Korean-English Dictionary, the largest English dictionaries in Korea. A great deal of examples in the book helps to study everyday practical English.

Good reference Dictionary
I have been using this dictionary from the getgo. All good to have the functions in booking and wording in your customizable wordbooks. Review what you searched on history of the searches as well as Korean translation. Down fall on this one though, after couple of years of updating the os on iPhone and new models it stopped the pronunciations. I mean, you have to know how to say the word exactly, right?
Overall it’s good but did not have a sound function is a huge downfalls! Please fix this!!!

I can save word lists.
The hanja is provided. I wish it would be possible to copy from this app—especially the hanja.
There can be multiple uses and versions of a word and they all show up as options.
You can search on English or in Korean.
There is other functionality that I have discovered as I use it. All helpful little extra things.
Wish they could include stroke order for hanja as well as the ability to select and copy text.

사실, 그동안에도, 비록 점프 기능이 없고 표제어 자동생성기능이 미흡했어도, 단어를 찾을수 있다는 것 만으로도 별 불편없이 사용해 왔는데, 이번에 이러한 점프기능이 추가되고 자동 생성기능이 완벽하게 고쳐져서 사용하는데 더욱 편리해졌네요. 거의 'Perfect' 하다고 할수있겠네요.
사전을 자주 사용하는 사람으로서 기쁘고 감사합니다.
단지, 예전 버전의 History 와 Bookmark 기능이 새 버전과 호환이 안돼서 조금 아쉽네요.

One of the main reasons I use iPhone is that it enables me to use dictionaries, like YBM's, very conveniently at anytime and at anywhere.
In fact, I have been using this YBM English Korean English Dictionay without any complaints although it didn't support the hyperlink feature and the real-time processing look-up feature was not perfect.
Now, with this new version with new and perfectly fixed features of Hyperlink and Real-Time Processing Look-Up, I can use it more easily and conveniently. I'm so happy and satisfied with it as a person who frequently uses the dictionary.
I can say this YBM dictionary is now almost 'Perfect'.
Only thing I regret is history and bookmark functions of old version are not compatible with new version.

getting worse over time
This app is expensive but used to be somewhat worth it because it was a very comprehensive dictionary. But after some updates the app is actually getting worse because words are disappearing and can no longer be found. I recently tried searching words like "챙기다" and "오히려" and was surprised to find they are no longer in the dictionary (these words even appear in the free dictionary that is on my Samsung non-smartphone). I think the search function on this app is now broken and can no longer find certain words. So now I just use the free dictionary on my Samsung non-smartphone, which always has the words I need to find, so I'm regretting the money I spent on this app. Please fix the search function and add back the words that have disappeared.

Really really happy with this app.
This is the best English-Korean-English dictionary I've ever used. I am a 1.5 generation Korean living in US so I often needs English words that I need to look up for my job and never seen better tool than this one. It always finds the words I need to look up and Korean-English is pretty good too. What's more this app never crashed on my iTouch 64 GB. I highly recommend to anybody who needs this type of program. I just wish it loads a little faster when I start the app. It takes about 3-4 seconds so it's not big deal but still...

Solid dictionary for learners of Korean
This is a solid dictionary with both Korean-English and English-Korean.
The interface is pleasant enough, though like almost all such material, really geared to Korean learners of English. It would be nice to be able to toggle a setting and have all material geared to learners of English disappear (lists of English words for TOEIC, etc.). Some of the English translations are unidiomatic, but this isn't a real issue for native English speakers (I guess that the Korean is idiomatic, however).

실망
없는 단어도 많고 인터넷 비접속시 구동은 되지만 버벅인다던지 응답 속도가 현저히 감소해 재시작해도 마찬가지인 경우가 부지기수임. 솔직히 돈값 제대로 못하는 어플.

Moreover, when not connected to the internet, the time it takes to see the result seems greately diminished or it simply would not show, forcing the user to restart the app which is extremely annoying and time consuming when this app is supposed to work offline with no problem. Overall, don't spend a dime on this dissapointing app and look elsewhere for a better alternative.

From a Native English Speaker
I'm so glad I bought this app. I'm living in Korea but I don't speak Korean, so this dictionary has been amazing, both for studying Korean and for getting around.
My main criticism is that although the controls are in English, the dictionary iteslf seems meant for Korean speakers learning English. For instance, "sem" as a contraction of "sonsaengnim" doesn't have an entry, presumably because a native Korean speaker doesn't need it, but I do!

the older version was great but now...
The older version worked pretty well, though it was slightly buggy but nothing terribly annoying, but this version, which has the hanja option (a nice one yet) is VERY buggy. Whenever I delete a letter/word to start a new request the application quits and sometimes opens an entirely different application on my ipod. This is VERY annoying and prevents me from utilizing this dictionary as I wanted. Please fix this! It's a waste of my money with this bug.
