Paganmamaphd,
Wonderful Tool for deepening and understanding Asana
I am so grateful to have discovered this app. I am an avid yoga fan and currently in a 200 hour teacher training. Having a place to reinforce what I am learning and being able to hear and practice the Sanskrit is a tremendous help in my training process. I also appreciate the concise discussion of the 8 limbs of Raja yoga.
if there are plans for further development having an ability to create my own sequences would be a very useful tool! The app is simple to use, great as a study tool and I recommend it for anyone who wants to be able to move between their mother tongue and Sanskrit.

Ebayseller az,
Great app for new instructors and yogis!
As a student in a 200 HR-RYT program, this app has come in handy when learning the Sanskrit names of the poses. Being able to hear them as well, in a slower form is a great tool. It would be helpful to have Surya Namaskar A and B in separate groups outside of The Primary Series section. More poses would be great as well. Overall, extremely happy using this app! Nice job!
NCABecky,
Phenomenal App! Sanskrit, Mantras, Poses!
I have loved this app for so long! It is a gift to me as a Westerner who started learning yoga and came to find my love of Sanskrit and belief it should be preserved and taught authentically along with asana / poses.
Thank you for creating this for us!
Ps. I’d love to have translations of the mantras if you one day add those! I can imagine the translation is somewhat subjective & tricky...

Great tool for Yoga learning!
The app is exactly as described- and easy to navigate. I love the list of prayers with audio sample and the ability to switch between English & Sanskrit which helps to learn the makes of asanas. Also a guide that breaks down Sanskrit word roots to build your Sanskrit comprehension!
VeeJovan,
Very very useful
Very useful info and accurate. It breaks down yoga as a full practice not just the poses. The audio is clear and the app I easy to use. I’m happy I downloaded it. I will be using it every day. I recommend it to anyone learning yoga as a life practice or even as your form of meditation.
Nonikaur,
The Best Yoga App
First of all, I would like to thank you Rajeev for taking your precious time to create this wonderful app and that too for free. You’re great developer as well as Yogi. Love this app. It’s helping me a lot to pronunce the Sanskrit words for Asanas correctly. I have just started using it. So far loving it. Keep it up Rajeev.
smanuelvt,
So hard to find correct pronunciation!
I’m currently studying for my 200hr teacher training. The pronunciations of the postures at school are taught by English only teachers. They butcher the language and should NOT be teaching Sanskrit asanas. So sad. Thank you for this life saving app!!! Please continue to add more posture names🙏🏼❤️
tstecker,
Exactly what I was looking for...
I am currently doing power yoga teacher training and learning the Sanskrit names for the different poses. This app is just what I was looking for. I love that you can hear the proper pronunciation and even slow it down. This is an awesome resource!

Thank you so much for this app! I have been Practing yoga for 20 years, but now thy I’m in yoga teacher training, I need to know the Sanskrit at a deeper level. This is very useful as I make my way through my readings and plan my first classes! Namaste. 🙏🏼
