Work in Progress
I am so relieved that all of the classes that were missing after the platform transition are now available! It took a while, but it seems nothing is missing now. I’ve been a subscriber since day one of the yogaworks online launch a decade ago. I’m not thrilled with the massive price spike. I think there should still be an option for those of us that only want OnDemand content (not live classes and not all the new live classes OnDemand). I’m pregnant and going to have a newborn, so I don’t want to pay extra for a bunch of content I’m not going to use. Please make this an option for a lower payment tier. Also, PLEASE bring back “recently viewed” classes! This is super important to many of us, being able to see the last time we practiced any given video. I really don’t like that our view history went away. If you can bring back playlists as well, that would be really nice….
TRD-TRD,
On demand yoga classes okay; live classes failing; price increased
In addition to search/filter issues others have commented upon, the app does not consistently support connecting to a live instructor. On multiple occasions I have not been able to have the class that I was waiting to attend live become functional. Instead there is only a screen stating when it is supposed to go live - even after the class time has arrived. The instructors are great so if you are looking for an on demand app and are adept at searching for the style, instructor and duration without drop down toolbars, this can meet your needs. I try to remain hopeful about improvements to the app, but currently it is not meeting my needs and after several years of being a member, this is disappointing to pay for a service that can no longer provide a consistent live instructor practice option.

Update: Though I had previously confirmed with customer service at YogaWorks about locking in my price and being assured that if my account was in good standing I would not have a price increase, they went ahead and billed me a higher rate then when my automatic payment did not go through, they let me know that the platform had changed so they were increasing prices for all previous customers. The service is reduced, I cannot see why anyone would want to pay more for less.
GillnMaureen,
New app lacking
I’ve been a subscriber to YogaWorks online classes for maybe 10 years. I have the my stars to the wonderful classes and teachers, and having it all online: highly recommend. I removed two stars because the new app (iPhone version) doesn’t allow class search or filter by time, area of concentration (flow, gentle, core, etc), difficulty level (1, 2 or 3), teacher, or length of class time. Extremely frustrating. If there was a decent search or filter ability it would be 5 stars from me.
Frustrated_Yogi,
Needs a lot of work
There is absolutely no way to search/sort by class difficulty level. You can search/sort by class duration, style of class, even by teacher, but not difficulty level. There is zero consistency in how class difficulty is labeled—some classes list the difficulty in the class name, others don’t. Some classes are tagged with the difficulty level, some aren’t. They have even (in the current version) disabled user comments on the classes; I found the user comments very helpful, i.e. “This class says Level 1 but it’s easily a 2/3.”

Poor app design, poor user interface, poor functionality, and some incredibly stupid choices (why include an autoplay feature that defaults to being turned on? Who is autoplaying yoga classes back-to-back?) make this app, sadly, one to pass on in its current iteration.
B-Pink,
Best online yoga classes
I love YogaWorks! The variety of styles of classes is so helpful. The instructors are fantastic. Both of my yoga studios closed and it’s nearly impossible to find local classes that aren’t hot hot hot and very demanding. I admit that there are things I miss since they changed platforms. Live classes via zoom really feel live when you can see people from all over the country and my favorite instructor left. But with that being said, I’ve tried several online yoga platforms and this one is as close to an in person vibe as I’ve found.
Scala79,
So many options and all of great quality!
I have been with YogaWorks for almost 3 years. This change has transformed my life and health both physically and mentally. I no have my husband joining me as well. Being in my 60’s and retired it has allowed us to remain active and strong. The NEW YogaWorks has opened new doors to more progress and sooo many choices of classes and instructors. We particularly enjoy Vytas and Elena for Power Yoga and therapeutics as well as Vinyasa with others. Thank you for being there every day. One downside to the changeover: We miss John Gaydos, Dani Ibarra and Yvonne Kingsley.

Excellent instructors
I’ve been practicing online with YogaWorks for about two years (and practicing overall for about 20). The instructors are top notch, offering guidance on fundamentals and options to make a practice what one needs on any given day - from the gentler to more energetic and strength building side. I also love the range of personalities. Everyone is encouraging and supportive, but there’s variation on the theme and I enjoy spending time with a handful of folks regularly. I also love having access to new content on a regular basis.

Trustworthy and fantastic teachers
I’ve been a member of YogaWorks for years and I love the amazing classes and excellent teachers. To be honest, when I’ve done classes at other places in person, I never feel like they measure up to the experienced teachers at YogaWorks. I like all of the levels and search functions that they have. Sometimes I want a cardio/HIT and other times I’m working on yoga. It’s all there. I tell everyone about it. Thanks to everyone for making the entire program so great.
frainch toast,
Honestly, this is terrible. Really unfortunate.
There is no live stream schedule! There is no way to plan your week and add classes to your calendar. Live classes are just in this massive carousel in the header with no rhyme or reason to the sequence and no way to see all upcoming live classes in one place. What in the world?!
I no longer have access to all my organized lists of my favorite on demand classes either. You can’t search live or on demand classes based on style, Level, length of time, etc.
All the attributes of the website that actually worked pretty well are gone in exchange for a YouTube-like interface that is extremely user unfriendly. I’m really sad to say all of this.
thelittlekicks,
The best instructors and lots of variety
I’ve been practicing with Yogaworks since the studio days but much prefer working out at home now - pumped to see there’s now an app! Yogaworks instructors are great and all super experienced, whether you’re just starting out or expert-level. I love early morning Yogaworks and Vinyasa styles, and sometimes squeeze in a short video class in the afternoon if I’m feeling tight from sitting at my desk. Instant reset!
