Yoritsuki is a software application whose theme is that of a Japanese inn.Guest room are richly imbued with Japanese atmosphere. The view changes completely with the turn of the four seasons.
As the seasons and daylight hours change, so do the background sounds and animations (birds, snow, fireflies and so on).
Choose your favorite shoji. Slide it as you like to alter the view.

Five years later..
I still love this app, and it’s still as gorgeous as ever. I wish the developer would update it with new sounds (the rains could be softer, or a choice of gentle patter), new lanterns and firefly options, etc. but even if not its still worth downloading in 2022. You basically have this little secret tea house that you can change the furnishings, cups, matS, screens and seasons in. It keeps track of your seasons, too! Just a beautiful piece of wonder in a pandemic world. ❤️

I downloaded the iPad version way back when I bought my iPad 2 and fell in love. It’s so zen and relaxing. I still use it on my 2nd gen 12.9” iPad Pro! I never knew there was an iPhone version until just now, so I DLed it immediately in the hopes that the developer will add even more features and maybe come up with some more amazing, meditative and zen apps!!

Good, but I have a suggestion?
I love this app, so so much. I’ve had it for years now. But I always end up using other apps instead, because you can’t play this if it’s minimized or your phone is locked.
The visuals are stunning, but what I’d love to use it for are the sounds , and if it could play when it’s minimized it would be perfect

Issue-no sound
I LOVE this app and hope it’s always on my phone but there’s something wrong with the sounds…there’s no longer any rain or any other sound no matter what you do. It’s so sad because it was so beautiful and relaxing. Please fix this! Thank you!

I used to love this app, but in the latest iOS updates I think it may have been made obsolete. All the visuals work fine, but there’s zero sound in either the phone or iPad versions. I hope it gets fixed soon, I miss it.
