- The image filters have been overhauled to be much, much faster (using the Image Quality setting can speed these up even more if you don't need the highest resolution).
- Updated some things to run on the latest-and-greatest version of Unsplash's API.

NOTE: App versions prior to 1.9.0 rely directly on the Splasher backend servers to help with photo filters. That changed in 1.9.0. These particular servers will be shut down no later than Feb 12, 2018. If you have not updated to 1.9.0 before then you will see issues with certain features in the app and some features will cease to work properly. If you stay up to date then you have nothing to worry about!

- Added push notifications for alerting you when new photos are available!
- Once upon a time Splasher had a tilt-to-pan feature when viewing a full-res photo, this has made its way back into the app after being removed some time ago.
- Added a new settings screen to allow 1) adjusting the image resolution being used from Unsplash, 2) disabling the tilt-to-pan feature, and 3) leaving an App Store rating without having to leave the app!
- Made a few changes when viewing a full-res photo to get the filter/share buttons to a more convenient/easier to reach position.

This version also introduces small ads into the photo feed. Back end server costs increased a little since the 1.5.0 update and I'd like to be able to cover that without paying out of pocket if possible. I'd also like to try to pay the awesome people at Unsplash for premium API access at some point in the future as a thank you for what they provide. Users who had previously updated to 1.5.0 will not see ads for the time being as a thanks for being awesome!

- Using native iOS share actions, so you can now share photos to other apps (as well as still save them to your device)
- Added support for photo search (users and collections coming soon)
- Added iPad support
