Wolfgirl,
Awesome!
Now make the gallery capacity infinite please!! ^_____^
eykei,
Creative, must have!
I feel that people who gave this app 1 star didn't know what the app was for and how to use it.

Basically, there are two galleries, for example the second one has four rooms, each with 10 default pictures already mounted. You can walk around the gallery, and move the pictures, resize them, or rotate them. Of course, you can replace the picture with your own-I replaced all the pictures with photos of my contacts.

Edit: for the new updates that have been coming out, I'm updating this review. Now the app is pure awesome- the layout makes more sense. Again I see people not enjoying it, saying "well what's the point" for what it is supposed to do, it does it very well. I bought it for .99 but I'd pay $5 at least!

Can't wait for the 3rd gallery to be finished!

Edit 2: months later, haven't seen an update. The 3rd gallery has only 2 rooms-not finished. A lot of the users have a point that it should be more customizable and/or look less rough. The UI is improved, no complaints there.
Geo-Carl,
Disappointed
Despite it's promised "50 pictures" I'm only able to see eight on the walls. Some preloaded pictures seem to change with time, but once I've loaded my pictures they're just added to the existing photos. At any one time you are only able to see eight photos. There's blank space on all walls that could be used to put other photos. Use it. I bought this thinking I'd be able to help arrange my gallery shows, but no dice. I'm not sure why one would want to pay this much just to see poor reproductions of the photos they could better see in the Photos app.

Every time I hit the "start" button the app freezes and to this day I have absolutely no idea what's supposed to happen when it hit it (except to freeze up the app). I'm more than irked to pay $5.00 for an app that is in such a crude state of development. He should pay me for the time and frustration he's cost me.

Lest you take my comments too lightly, understand that I am a professional photographer who regularly does gallery exhibits. The only hope I hold out is that the developer will listen to the comments and, if he does, I'll be able to get a free upgrade.

Clever seed of an idea, but not very well implemented.
capnjiggins,
Ehh..
Love the idea, but the implementation is not there for me yet.

First of all...the different color lights are very distracting and add somewhat of an odd, creepy atmosphere to the gallery. 1) Allow more customization. I would like the option to somewhat create my own layout for a gallery with as few as 1 rooms, and no colored lights.2) This feels like a mid 90's first person shooter with no shooting. Get rid of the jump. 3) Galleries are ALL about the atmosphere. I feel like I'm in A Clockwork Orange walking around this place. More customization will fix this problem. The ability to pick a different background outside would also be appreciated. Allow for different types of galleries. One that is classy and simple, one that is abstract like this one and maybe another that is at the top of a skyscraper (something interesting like that!)

Great idea, but at this point I cannot recommend, however with more options I will gladly change my review. Honestly, at $4.99 there should be many options available. Make a few changes and you have an absolute winner.
ZombieCowboy,
Works as promised...
...but not as expected. The 3-D graphics are as sophisticated and the controls are as intuitive as any quality game for the iPhone, and the scenery and rendering are absolutely gorgeous. One thing I really didn't expect is that there's no way to change a default gallery to your own photo album from your iPhone in one big batch. You have to navigate to each picture and change them. One. By. One. Which in my case could take several hours to a couple of days.

This is such an egregious oversight in functionality that there is absolutely no way that this just never occurred to the developer. Since I'm just too lazy to read through all the legalese in the iPhone developer's SDK, I assume there's some clause that forbids importing of albums. Hopefully, I speak for the user community when I say to Apple, I really don't mind if apps include that functionality.
Multi_Read,
Dear Developer:
This app has true potential. Ignore the children complaining about it and work on a update, please. I would recommend having an option to turn off the black lines on the walls, as they are great for lining pictures up but unsightly when roaming the gallerie. Also, I beg you to allow us to hold our fingers on the controls for posistioning pictures. Many times I had to hit those controls a hundred time, it would be great to just hold the button and have it move more quickly. How about music that changes when you go through a door? And speaking of doors... Could you animate a door opening when we walk through it?

I love what this app could be, I like what it is now. Please update with at least my control fix... Me love you long time if you do that.
CrystalRobot,
Not as great as it looks in these screen shots
This app got so much potential. Imagine you can create a great Gallery fill with pictures of all your memories. Rooms dedicated to the photos of your pet, other room for relatives, vocations. etc. And you can walk through this building while your favorite music plays in the back ground. You can stop at any pictures and enjoy it. But here are the cons a) Walking through the gallery is not that smooth..it dosenot uses the great power of acceleromter or motion controls for moving around rather gives you six button which covers half the tiny screen. b) no relaxing background music. c) No option to lock a few room for private pictures. Wait for the updates or to down load free.
Jay Haase,
Exciting Idea -- Not User Friendly
I was very excited about the idea behind this application, and I am still am. There needs to be a few improvements before this application is worth the price, and before it is usable for me.

1. The interface for selecting photos is extremely tedious to use if you have many photos in your library. A new interface should be created that allows for easy navigation through photos. Maybe even a way to select the photos for display on a computer and then download them to the iPhone/iPod.

2. The interface for moving around in the gallery makes moving feel like a chore. Please don't make the user have to do so many fine adjustments to just walk around -- make it easier by using some standard paths (also, the jump is not needed).

3. Create a way to see each picture full screen.
TKresila,
Must have!
This is one of those unique ideas that makes the app store so special! It's awesome to walk around your own 3D virtual gallery and look at all your pictures. You can place any picture you have on your iPhone in the gallery and move, resize, or rotate. Or if you want leave all the pretty stock photos and look at those. This definetly gives off a "wow" factor when showing it off to people as well. The controls are also easy and well done for a first person view. I give this app 4 stars because the while the graphics are nice it could greatly benefit from a touch of anisotropic filtering to help smooth out photos! Great work devs! I hope to see updates to this! And to iPhone users, this is a must have!
prattle-on,
1 of my favorites!
I love this app! I've got a gallery of my own artwork, a gallery of artwork I own, and a gallery of my ancestors' portraits. The effects of walking through gallery rooms & doors is very effective and smooth. Very user friendly. Would it be possible to have placards by the artwork where you could enter info.? Or maybe a refreshment table when you have an "art opening" and show all your friends? Maybe someone walking around and looking at your artwork? In any case, all this would be beside the point. The app is wonderful as it is and a refreshing way to show everyone your new photos & phone, and how creative they both can be!
