Airplane Duel is a 2 player air combat game with easy controls and flight physics!
Shoot down the balloon or your opponent's plane!
How to Play:
Choose Training (Singleplayer) or Duel (Multiplayer).
Dual mode will setup a connection via Game Center with a second iPad, iPhone or iPod touch.
- Press the FIRE Button to take off.
- Use the ARROW Buttons to head nose up and down.
- Be careful: If you climb too fast, you'll stall!
- The game is over when one plane scores 15 points.

Connection problems fixed:
- Sometimes, no planes were visible when a multiplayer game started.
- Sometimes, restarting a multiplayer game didn't work.
Input problem fixed:
- When lifting two fingers at the same time, it could happen, that the plane kept on shooting or looping. This is fixed now.
Practice mode change:
- In Easy mode, now the opponent plane doesn't fly and can't be shot. It's just flight training and shooting the balloon. The other practicing modes are unchanged.
Flight physics change:
- Slightly less deceleration, when planes are climbing.
- Sometimes, no planes were visible when a multiplayer game started.
- Sometimes, restarting a multiplayer game didn't work.

good old fun
This is very similar to the biplanes game from Intellivision's Triple Action. Loved that game, which is why I bought this one and this one is cool too. Wish there were more members so i could duel. That is the real fun of the game. Also the hard version against the computer is not so fun cause the blowing up is just too fast. When you play against a person they are sporting about letting each other get air. And Intellivision only gave you 2 short range shots at once. This gives 3 long range which makes it easier. Thanks for making this. I've wanted to play more of this since like 1988.

I can understand the complaints from the generation that never played and loved pong.
But this game is a great imitation of a game that I absolutely loved when computers were new.

Biplanes (part of Triple Action) was the most addictive game from the Intellivision gaming system from the early 80s. This game is VERY simple yet lots of fun. It's a throwback to a simpler time in video games.

It should be cheaper and also the black boarders on the left and right sides are annoying on the iPod touch 5th gen.

Rip-off by the developers
This game is NOT GOOD, DON'T BUY IT. Got it when it was free but was still charged 99c for it. If the purchase justified the price, I would not feel so angry. Shame on the developers and the company.. spend more time on writing better codes instead!!!
