LoneHero33,
A free story that’s absolutely worth your time.
I’ve never written a review before, but this is a special game. At first the blocky looking characters and few environments made me expect something low quality. It’s free after all. But the story and characters all grew on me as I read. The further you get the better everything becomes. Not just the story either, I was extremely surprised at how good the music was. Simple but very powerful and emotional, it fits the game’s atmosphere perfectly. If I had to give 1 complaint it would be that eventually every chapter ends with either a huge cliffhanger because of new information, or a plot twist that at first seems to come out of nowhere. The story brings it all together in the end so nothing added was wasted, it just didn’t feel so at the time of reading. There is an ad after every chapter, but they’re skippable after 5 seconds. They appear right before a save point so it doesn’t interrupt the flow of the story too much.
i dont care for a username,
Best Story App Out There!
I’ve never made a review on any app. None have been really that amazing for me to. But this app- is truly amazing. I can hardly go into words of how I balled my eyes out playing. |The app doesn’t include any charges and is completely free (which is saying a lot since many games like this always have a limit on chapters). But this game is different, you can read as many chapters as you’d like! Yes there are a few adds every time an chapter ends but the adds are short and it’s only 1 every end of chapter. Plus it’s how the creators can raise money for themselves since there app is completely free.| Although this technology isn’t a full review (I just didn’t want to spoil this story to others and want them to enjoy it) I just wanted to say that the game is one of my favorite and the best “visual novel” I’ve found.
Your Horrible Neighbour,
GREAT GAME BUT
I really like this game! Unique, very interesting motifs that are used. But I’ve been having a few issues. The first is that sometimes when there is dialogue, an ad will pop up, which is fine, but then the ad completely breaks the game and I can’t continue the dialogue or anything. I’ve tried interacting with the characters in that area, the doors, so on and nothing works, which forces me to save and close in hopes of being able to return and complete the scene. But no, that doesn’t work. So now, I’m stuck on chapter 14 (I think) at a very pivotal moment and the game is broken! Very heartbreaking.

The second thing that bothers me is that the controls are kinda wonky. When I have to talk to someone or go someplace, I have to tap multiple times because I’m unsure of where exactly to tap even though the exclamation point is hovering over it. Maybe try to highlight the area on the ground where it needs to be tapped?

Other than that, great game, I really hope I can finish it because if not, then I’ll feel like I wasted a lot of time for nothing.
Drainmav,
It actually made me cry
Okay let me just say first. I’m a grown 33 year old man. I never cried at movies muchless video games but this game somehow brought me to tears. The story is so touching. It’s all about first loves and regrets. I shed so many tears during the second half I couldn’t believe it. You really believe in these characters and their love for each other. If you want to feel something then get this game and play it fully.

I only am sad it ended without us knowing a few things. I pray for a sequel because I just need to get that perfect ending for my emotional sake. I would have rated this game ten stars out of five if I could. It’s insane you can get so emotional with blocky old school pixelated characters. I tip my hat to the team who made this game. Bravo.
hisnfjhd,
Please make more like this beautiful story
Look I am in middle school and began this game a while ago and finished it and Omg where do I begin on a game this immersive in story, it has such a rich feel with it and has so many plot points that just make me want to play for so long. All the characters are just well crafted and from a person who has never leaked a tear at a game, this made me leak my first. Every chapter feels like it can’t get any better with the story but it somehow does. I have recommended this game to so many of my friends and they all love it. It has such a serious message it’s getting out in such a nice way that I love it. Being a middle schooler I normally don’t write reviews but this on I just had to
IAm2TheDude,
Great story, annoying bugs-but doesn’t ruin it.
The game is really good, and way longer than I expected. The ads are short and happen only after every chapter, so it’s not that bad. It’s basically just a visual novel so don’t expect much gameplay. But the areas are small and the moving around does make it more immersive. So I’d say it’s justified as being more than just a book.

Biggest issue I had is there was an annoying glitch that would happen every now and then where I would be able to move around during talking segments, and I’d be soft locked. However just as a tip, if you save the game, load that save, and then exit and re-enter the room where the story of happening, it’ll fix itself and you won’t have to restart the whole chapter.
BeCunCun,
Emotional Story Game
Oh my gosh, when I first saw this is the AppStore, I was tempted to not play it, due to the boring looks at it, but I gave it a go anyway. And I’ll say, I don’t regret doing so. I’ve never had a game that surprises me this much, with all the plot twists and all. I expected this to be some short 30 minute game, but it was so much longer.

The story was so amazing, though to be honest I got lost near the end of the epilogue, but I understood it after a while. Even though it looks boring at first, the story immediately captivated me to keep going, you guys did an absolutely amazing job, and I hope you continue having a great day!

Not sure what to say here. Practically everything good about this game has already been said. Music, story, art, it’s all pretty nice. It’ll keep you entertained for an afternoon. The only annoying thing is that you need to write a review for extra stuff at the end, which is kinda annoying. But overall, really like this one.

Edit: Found out there are some paywalls for the epilogue. I get that these games need money, but I still feel weird knowing that I need to pay in order to find out the ending. Not sure how to feel, it kinda sours the whole experience.

Edit #5088: Forget everything I said in the last edit, some of the epilogue stuff just needs ads. As for the sidestories... good luck
Kenża,
AMAZING
I cannot say ENOUGH about how amazing this game is! I was laughing and crying throughout the entire thing; the story is epic and you really get a feel for the characters as you play through the game. It's just like watching an anime, only you're interacting with the story while you watch the happenings of the game play out.

It's not multiple choice, but I feel like that was a very good thing about the game. Finding your way around is generally very simple, (though it took me a bit to understand how to use the elevator and remember which floor is which) and knowing what to do next is very easy to figure out as Haruto (the character you play throughout most of the game) will say "I think I should go to such-and-such," a very useful tip.

I beg somebody, make this into an anime. It's worth watching as much as Death Note or Erased (the latter of which I was frequently reminded of due to the similar names between main characters xD)

I LOVE IT! PLAY THIS GAME! IT'S SO WORTH IT, AND I'M NOT JUST SAYING THAT TO SAY THAT. IT'S EPIC!!!
{Review Master},
The best..
It is a super amazing game, great story, amazing all the way around. The ending is sorta.. left off, if I will, but I love it so much. Sometimes things freeze and it glitches just exit the game and don’t save, them skip to the part you left off. When you finish a chapter, make sure you save your progress though.

Wonder, beautiful game. A work of art.. you will love the characters, the plot, the animation.. it’s not a very known game, but it’s awesome. If you like this game, then I suggest you should also play The Kids We Were. It’s just as great with a sad ending.. play both. Just do it.
