Paul McGuane,
Faithful to the Boardgame; minor glitches
Great value! Highly repeatable game play. AI is a bit wonky where the AI players sometimes don’t take obvious overrun opportunities. Occasional glitches with event cards. Mostly faithful to the board versions (but I haven’t played the most recent versions, so take that with a grain of salt).
Former fan of Apple,
Ok, but some of the features don’t work
Great map and overall concept, but the execution and factory testing is somewhat lacking. Some of the event cards don’t work. Example, I chose a disaster event card, the interface then told me to select a province to apply the disaster to (it even highlighted the eligible provinces), but when I clicked on a province nothing happened. I clicked everywhere on the map, nothing happened. Now I am stuck in the event card transaction with no way to get out of it except close the app and start a whole new game. Very frustrating.
sclark88,
Favorite game
Been playing this flawlessly for years and long been one of my favorite iPad games, a combination of Civ and Risk. A bug was introduced in a recent updates but they responded quickly to fix it (thank you!).

Edit: Had to add that twice I reported an AI bug with the Arabs and both times they fixed it right away. Great support from Sage!
kendakr,
Bug
This is one of my favorite games but there seems to be a bug. I can play through about five epochs and then the game crashes. Is this a known issue?
Dspitzle,
Great game, but currently broken
I’ve been playing this for a few years, but currently I can’t pick areas to affect with events, which may be a bug related to one of the recent targeting patches.

Update: A year later and I still can’t use Sea Power because no matter where I click it still won’t deploy a ship
Neskire,
Very good adaptation of the board game
History of the World is a very good board game. This is a fun adaptation. You can pass and play with others or play solo against AI players. However, you need to correct some spellings. It is “siegecraft” not “seigecraft”. LOL
Bohemonds,
Great game, but...
A bunch of the event cards don’t work—can’t place navies, can’t select targets for pestilence, and so on. It makes the game sort of frustrating
IoSonoX,
Boring
Was really looking forward to play this game, saw it was on sale (from $5 to $1) and got it. Got disappointed quickly. Maybe I was looking for something like Civilization, which this is definitely not the case.
meBePaul,
One of my favorites
Great transport of a great board game. One of my all-time favorites!
Hanoveur,
Buggy. Couldn’t get past tutorial.
It got to a point during the tutorial where it said I should end my turn, but pressing the hourglass did nothing. Skip this buggy game.
