I would like to thank a support staff member named Tammy. My content would not load. After a few emails back and forth we were able to solve the problem. In today’s world there are many different tools used for recovery. Every day I like to start with the day’s reflection found on your app. The reading is not the only good part, the soft soothing voice that reads it is very peaceful. I use the big book study by Joe and Charlie sometimes when commuting back and forth from work. Also there is a Joe and Charlie meeting in LaGrange Illinois that meets on Thursday nights. During this Covid-19 pandemic the meeting is still going on via Zoom chat room. Technology!!! To think the price I paid for this app would last a lifetime. When drinking I would have spent that amount in less than an hour!!!! Thanks again for making this tool available and for the courteous support staff!!

Life Savers
The Joe and Charlie tapes helped me tremendously in my early recovery; they broke down the Big Book in a way that made it come to alive. They helped me understand it and see how important it was to my recovery. The easy and down to earth manor in which they delivered the message using levity at times and also pointing out the serious nature of the disease, encouraged me to continue to study the book for the past 12 years of my continuous sobriety and for this I am eternally grateful 🙏🏻 The app that sends me slogans daily is wonderful and I look forward to receiving them each day !!! The absolute best AA app IMO.
I was told to download this app by my sponsor after my first AA meeting and I am so glad I did. When I was first trying to get sober, it was so helpful to keep my mind focused on this new way of life available to me. I could not be in meetings 24/7 and I found this app to be my go-to in times of need.
Joe and Charlie tell their stories of what it was like and what happened to them in the most humorous, raw and humbling manner. This app is so user friendly and chalk full of meaningful information. I’ve used every nook and cranny of it! Keep the good info coming!

Changed everything
This is my third time in AA and this is the first time it will stick. The way Joe and Charlie explain the steps in the program is overwhelmingly simple and beautiful. Makes me feel like making an advocation of AA for the rest of my life. Being a true alcoholic I should probably just finish the steps first. I know Joe and Charlie are gone now but I love them anyway and always. Thank you so much . You have changed my life.

When the phone is to heavy...
When the phone feels like it’s 1,000lbs and calling another alcoholic seems impossible, I can always seem to press play on this app. The Joe and Charlie app has saved my life many times! Once I listen to some of the seemingly endless amount of content, my phone doesn’t seem to heavy anymore and my thoughts turn to someone I can be of service to.

Hours of listening recovery
I downloaded this app and it has been worth every penny. God knows I spent more on other things. I have lots of listening time at work. Every day feels like I have been to a workshop or I enjoy the speakers. Sometimes when I’m studying a Big Book chapter, I will listen to the audio of it.

Very Beneficial
For people who are suffering from alcoholism this app. Provide a easier way to read / listen or get life changing information that people may never get cause so many people struggle to read the BB due to laziness this is a another alternative way that brings AA up with the changing of the time and it’s a beautiful thing I totally support this tool.

Excellent resource
So many high quality texts in audio form, and other inspirational and practical resources. The purchase is worth it to gain access to all of the workshops and audiobooks that cost more if purchased on their own. The app is well organized and easy to use. Sven though it’s available for free elsewhere, it would still be nice to have access to the actual literature here as well.

Best recovery app available!
Joe and Charlie is a must have for anyone in recovery. This app adds so many things to help me support my recovery. I cannot emphasize enough how if you too are looking for an app to help you stay sober/clean this is the one I’d pick. If I could only have one this would be it! Working on my 12th year in recovery in 2020 and now I’m a certified substance abuse counselor this app is the one I recommend to all my clients.
