This knowledge saves lives!
Active Defender places first hand knowledge and information right in the palm of every hand of every adult within a campus system in the event of an emergency. Within seconds I know whether to leave my room in an emergency or stay, where to go and the exact nature of emergency. My unit administrator can communicate directly with me to direct me to the best plan to keep students safe and away from any direct harm. I am equipped to face all emergencies with confidence using this app. I also have security knowing that first responders are monitoring any emergency situation on my campus in one, central, real time app without overlapping communication.

Sadly in today’s world there is just too much going on. We have had to look at more ways to make our schools safer.
This app has been the answer. Active Defender is a fantastic tool for our teachers and other school staff, right in the palm of their hands that alerts immediately the exact location of any type of situation that arises!

Excellent app
I’m a school administrator, and we just recently began utilizing the Active Defender app as part of our security protocols. We have been struggling with how to communicate with teachers and staff at various levels for intruder and other situations. This fits our need perfectly. In addition to being very affordable, it will provide our staff with the ability to instantly communicate emergency situations with the administrative team and local law enforcement. Customer service is amazing!!

Great Experience!
Jim Boyte spoke to my project management students at Ashley High School about his company during Global Entrepreneurship Week organized by UNCWs Center for Innovation and Leadership. Great safety app
I am so thankful my school is now using active defender as a means of communication for an emergency. It is user friendly, communicative, and should be used by all schools! As a second grade teacher, the ability to let my administrator know our location, the location of danger, and whether or not our students are safe is so important. This app makes it easy to do all!

A much needed tool
Active Defender places in the hands of the teachers and other school staff to instantly alert all staff of the trouble. What makes Active Defender unique though is that it provides a map which shows all staff the location of the incident. Allowing teachers the ability to modify reaction plans on the spot in regards to the location of a fire, medical issue or if an intruder was on campus.

Love this app!! This app keeps the entire school connected and able to communicate if/when an emergency arises. Love that I am able to see exactly where I am in proximity to the possible danger. Would recommend this app to anyone looking for a reliable and easy way to keep their business/school safe!

Easy to use and updates keep coming
We use Active Defender at our school and we love it! Speeds response time and streamlined communication for us. The developers are always trying to improve it and I’ve seen 2 updates since we started using it last Fall.
