For years I’ve been struggling with some serious anxiety, depression and fear. Those combined wrecked havoc on my physical body and demeanor. I’ve tried CBT, books, podcasts and a plethora of meditative apps only to end up back in the same loop of looking for relief.
In truth I downloaded this app about a year and a half ago and was instantly annoyed with it. I felt it too new age and leaned heavily on faux science. (In hindsight it was me. I simply was not ready or knowledgeable enough to see what it had to offer). I deleted the app and continued on.
In that continued search for a process/method that worked for me, I ran across new studies concerning sleep, relaxation and yes NEW scientific research around their connections. I found that the “faux science” was not so faux. That numerous areas of research are utilizing this science and getting solid results. I’ve revisited this app and now I can’t comprehend what I couldn’t accept. In a very short period of time, my sleep, attitude and general mood have improved drastically. When used genuinely and with a schedule, the meditations in this app can help to work wonders. I HIGHLY recommend giving this application a chance. Approach it with dedication and an open mind.
