Great Start But...
Great Start but some added features would be great! For example: allowing clients to create an actual login for their account. That way if I (the service provider) make an appt on my end, it still shows up under the client’s login/account. Also, past appts before this app was even created should be under a client’s login. This app basically lets clients book without hopping on their web browser and going to a website. It’s great but can only get better! Thanks for making a client app for Acuity!
Kid Kellz,
Neglected
Here’s the thing. It’s really straight forward. Squarespace has completely neglected Acuity since they acquired it. In their 2022 update, less than 5% of features were dedicated to Scheduling. You can’t customize the wording. You can’t customize the appearance. You can’t customize the checkout. You can’t check out on your domain. You can’t customize the post-checkout confirmation page. You can’t use Apple Pay even if you use stripe as a payment processor. You can’t take google pay either. You can’t enroll people in email campaigns. I interviewed a team out of India and they built all of this and more for me for under 10 grand. This multimillion dollar company can’t get it done in 5 years. When your strategy is ‘hire more PR reps than coders’ the source of the problem is really clear. And throughout it all, they hide behind a “we can log your feature request” response with every complaint. Don’t let it fool you - this is just a way to make you feel listened to, and they have zero intent of actually implementing any of the features the community recommends. Very poor service, wouldn’t recommend to an enemy.

Zero Customer Support
Does this app work? Yes and no You can book a class or schedule an appointment BUT there are major flaws and no response to customer support questions. 1. You can’t update expired credit cards, so you have to add your card again and can’t remove the old one. Every time you go to pay you have to pick the one you want. 2. You can’t remove businesses you don’t book appointments at anymore. I’ve technically removed old businesses only to see them reappear immediately. 3. You have to login and out frequently because even though you’re logged in, your information doesn’t show up. Would be great if there was any kind of help with this app, but there’s not and you’re stuck using it if the business you like uses it. There are a number of scheduling apps that don’t have any of these issues. Hopefully they fix them.

UPDATE I have screenshoted and sent in requests 2 or 3 times and no response. It’s why I posted my review.
AHN-iks APPROVED Studio,
User and Service Provider
I have my clients use this app along with using it myself for other service providers. It’s very easy and convenient to use. I am having a few minor issues that I wanted to shed some light on.

1. When I try to remove a service provider, by swiping left on the business, I’m allowed to delete it but when I close the app and go back in the business pops back up again.

2. As a service provider I have changed my booking links’s name but clients are still able to go in this app and click on and view my profile even though the link is not the same. I would think it would give them an error message like it would if they tried to access the link directly through a web browser opposed to this app.

Also, it would be great for clients go be able to create a login with the option to store their payment information for a faster booking experience.

Thanks!
teasergirl,
Yes yes yes!!!
This is going to be a lifesaver!!! No more clients overwhelmed with confirmation emails and claiming they never received the link (spoiler alert: they didn’t they just signed up for 100 appointments and can’t get the emails straight) I’m so excited about this I just want to scream - the upcoming appointments feature is going to be so nice. Plus clients who are like “this system is too complex” especially my older folks will hopefully find this more simple. Thank you acuity- this is really a level up, I hope you can tell my enthusiasm this is so great. Onwards and upwards!

Needs an update
The functionality of this app is poor. While customer service is prompt in responding, they will always redirect you to use the desktop version instead of addressing the issues within the app.

This app needs an overhaul- it constantly logs me out, the add to google calendar function doesn’t work. So many bugs and workaround that I have to do in order to schedule appointments and make sure they are *actually* scheduled.

Another suggestion is that I wish there was a full week view or a cart option so I could signup for multiple things in one go instead of one by one.
R077,
Well….
The app itself is straightforward but it’s glitchy. For instance, if the web version is used to book appointments, it doesn’t show up on the app (for me anyway). It shows my past appointments and that I’ve paid but not my next appointment. I’d also like the option to add a different payment plan on the app, instead of having to do it when I pay for my appointment. I’ve done all the updates and my phone version is up to do date but the same problem persists. I’ve deleted and redownloaded the app as well but nothing worked. I haven’t had an issue with customer support, they’re pretty good about trying to help but the problem is still ongoing.
blackwomanminimalist,
Better using desktop
** Update: my rate changed not for the app but for the stellar customer service experience around the matter highlighted below.

I have 3 of my top self care maintenance services that use this app for booking and I’ve used this since 2020 and it hasn’t improved. You’re better off using the desktop version. Right now it doesn’t show any of my upcoming appointments so I always have to double check with the business.
Dooothis,
Almost
I’m just wondering why, unless I missed it, can’t a client book multiple selections at once.. my business often requires booking 2 services or options at once… but why have to go through the whole intake and book it before they can go back, do the math on what time the last one ended or what day they even booked it. Needs to bemore seamless and efficient I think. Select, select, select then book all.
PeachBeach89,
As a business own I wouldn’t suggest this to clients.
If a client who has an account signs into the app, their appointments will not automatically populate nor does it populate by signing into their account on the business’s site. The client will have to go to an email confirmation, click change/cancel appointment, sign into the business’s site then the appointment populates on the app. Nor does it give a payment option on app to finish paying for the appointment.
