AeroBand Hack 2.3.3 + Redeem Codes

Fun concept but still needs a lot of work. The app is buggy and often gets stuck in a loop and will not let you proceed to play drums. Support and documentation is very weak. Language translation to English is often difficult to understand. Fun when it does work.

I got this because my son wants to learn drums but I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on a drum set before he showed continued interest and/or promise. The AeroBand drumsticks meet that need 100 percent. Best yet - they are portable and can be used with headsets.

The downside comes in at the app. In the different learning modules the beat you are trying to emulate doesn’t work with the music playing. Because of this, it makes the rhythm of the beats sound terrible. It is counter intuitive to have a drummer learn to set a beat that doesn’t coincide with the background music. I haven’t figured out how to turn off the music to the learning modules but if it isn’t possible, it needs to be in future updates.

Yes there is lag from the point of “strike” to the sound but this is Bluetooth technology and should be expected. I knew this going in and didn’t have an issue with it. I really just wanted something I could make a minimum investment in to aid in learning. The App, however, needs serious improvement. There is so much potential here. I would hate to see this guttered before that potential could be reached.

I supported this developer from day one and bought two sets of sticks and foot pads. Things were buggy from the beginning but I stuck with it. Sure, they were eventually firmware updates and some app updates. Right now I’m sitting with a perfectly brand new iPhone 12 at the latest iOS and there’s no sound coming out of the app at all. You can connect the sticks but you’re just playing thin air. As there’s no connection to any other midi sources are such, something that would be very valuable, you’re basically stuck with a quite pricey investment thet does nothing.

The app has a lot of bugs and won’t let me progress past level 1-3 of the learning tutorials. It will not allow you to play anything until you complete all 6 lessons. So now this is a giant waste because I can’t use it without “passing” the level, which has the bug. Really disappointed in the app. Hardware itself is nice. App is overly complex and forces too many features. All we want to do is play drums! Get rid of the need to “pass” the lessons to play!

I can’t recommend this until the app is fixed.

Terrible app, cool concept but app isn’t right, I figured you’d be able to use any drum app to use them. App is trying to be a game but not a good follow thru, looking at comments from 2 years ago with the same issues. Dude had good marketing I guess cuz I believed it was as cool as it made it look on tiktok. Returned after 2 hours of opening, right to kohl’s

The app is bad, but more importantly, the pocket drums 2 are useless. There’s horrible latency which makes it impossible to play in time and their positional accuracy is very inconsistent. It may as well just play a random drum sound every time you swing the stick. Or more accurately, about 50 ms after you swing the stick.

Fun and accurate playing. Just a bummer you have to go through levels just to play. Huge waste of time.

Lots of fun. Some bugs that need to b worked out but definitely a game/device we enjoy.

These are great fun. Not sure if you can actually learn on these as the app is somewhat lackluster but highly recommend the product
