Video recording feature is here!
You can now recording your flights to share them with friends. Just turn on your phone's camera (in joystick mode) by tapping the camera icon, then start recording by tapping the record icon. The videos are saved in your phone's media gallery.

After downloading latest firmware 1.16.2 the plane will not connect to my iPhone. Very disappointing Christmas present for my son. If I find a fix or customer service gets back to me, I will update my rating. I expect it to be a lot of fun if we get it to work. I followed all of the online “first time connecting” instructions exactly with no success. Hoping there is a quick and easy solution.

Almost perfect.
Love everything about the power up kit and the app... except for the lack of a flight stick. Having to to use the accelerometer to control the plane is cumbersome, especially when you have to use a tablet such as an iPad. Make an on screen flight stick on of the controls please.

No sound
I just got this me it looks really cool and downloaded the app. I tried to watch the tutorial videos but the sound is not working. There is no way to control the sound on the video in the app. I already checked my iPad sound and it works, I closed out the app and went back in, and I even powered it off and on. I don’t think it’s a problem on my side I think it is something wrong with the app.

Great products, some suggestions!
This is one of my favorite toys, I have both a 3.0 and a 4.0. I have no complaints at all (hence the 5 stars), but I do have some suggestions for how to make a near perfect product even better!
1. Bring back the dart/3.0 platform! It’s really nice to have a little slow flier in addition to the big fast 4.0.
2. Add the ability to make custom control schemes.
3. Make it possible to put custom designs in your personal hanger, it would really promote the design process.

I have no idea how to fly a plane that is not it the app. Please help me.

If powerup could add a screen lock function so the app doesn’t flip over when you try to turn but overall I might run out of paper soon😂

Awesome, missing some features
Flies great! The flight telemetry talked about in the Kickstarter campaign and the auto loop are not (yet) in the app, but the app is otherwise great!
