Age of Solitaire : Build City Hack 1.5.3 + Redeem Codes

I read the description in the App Store and mingled over the idea of getting swept away in a new game. This sounded new, exciting, intriguing. Build a city within a game of solitaire? It’s loneliness and abundance all in one; I had to know more. I downloaded. Five scrutinizing minutes of waiting but alas... “Open” appeared. I pressed on. I waited until I would reluctantly see the word “Play” pinned to the middle of my gleaming screen. I pressed on only to be halted in my journey of escaping the realities of this modern world. I never made it past “Play”, the word that will haunt me; the word that will symbolize my stunted life in never knowing the true age of solitaire. :-(

I’ve played a ton of this game. It’s a nice way to zone out. But there are a few bugs with ads that make it really frustrating. Ads sometimes pause other audio (like podcasts or music) and then the podcast fails to restart after the ad is done. When you restart the podcast yourself, when you come back to the game you are immediately bombarded with another ad which pauses the background podcast again. They game can get stuck in this cycle. It seems dependent on what ad service is being called. Some ads are ok. Some ads have no sound enabled (the best). This happens with the phone set to silent and the in-game audio set to silent. I have very much enjoyed this game and would pay a small amount of money to take ads away forever. Another bug with ads is sometimes you can accidentally suspend the app on iPhone X depending on where you rest your hand while playing. This causes ads to spam as the game thinks you have re-opened the app after suspending it. An example is accidentally swiping any native apple menu from the top or bottom of the screen. I would change my review to 5 stars if the app consistently played nicely with background audio and didn’t get stuck in ad loops after suspending the app.

...for a couple things. First, I don’t mind paying for an ad free experience but $4.99 for a solitaire game (with one variation only at that) is a tad steep. Throw in a few different variations. Make the difficulty match the number of points you get to upgrade the village (e.g. Klondike only nets you a hundred or so points while Spider nets you double that) Still, the ad free version is far more enjoyable to play and I’m old school and love Klondike.

Second, why is it so difficult for companies to implement syncing of game data through Game Center? Yes, you technically can sync your game through Game Center...manually...every time you switch devices (e.g. iPhone to iPad and back again). Why not sync data up after each game and down in first load? Make this a pro feature—no ads AND automatic sync—if you must but please make this a feature.

Third, iPads still exist and I’m assuming many people, like myself, use them in landscape more, especially when charging. A lot of apps seem to forget this and this one is no exception. Please provide a landscape mode for this game.

This is a really fun take on the normal solitaire apps! I find myself addicted to wondering what I will unlock next on the map. The app is free to play but does have ads, however the majority of the time you click on them to get things like extra shuffles or redo. For a free game I really found the ads unobtrusive, and since I know they help the developer stay in the business of making games I don’t mind.

My only suggestion would be to make the menu with the retry button more visible? Right now the menu is hidden in the pause button up in the right hand corner and for a while I had no idea it was there. Because of that the gameplay was a little awkward in the beginning.

Game is very fun with a touch of challenge compared to some of the other solitaire games out there. Love the shuffle and undo features. For those who are complaining about not being able to earn the boosts (shuffle, undo and hint), if you are able to spend the 1.99 to remove adds, you can earn them! Once the adds are removed a group of balloons will pop up on the map (level) and if you click it before it goes away you can watch an add, anywhere between 10 and 30 seconds and you will earn random boosts. You'll have several opportunities each game to earn the boosts so keep an eye out for the balloons! Have fun!

This app would be potential if it would bombard you with the same ad over and over and over, one after the other, not giving two seconds between. I played for probably a total of five minutes and got about 20 ads in the time. If you’re like me you put on music like pandora or something in the background while you play games but this app makes that impossible with once I finish the ad I’ll go back to pandora to play my music then when I reopen the app it pauses my music again to start the same ad over again right away. I had fun while it lasted and maybe if you fix the ad problem I might try re-downloading some time. Also, I know the ad let’s you end it after the first 10 seconds but having it start over like that on and on again every time you do something is outrageous.

I just downloaded this a few days ago and am loving it! I haven't found a hand yet that I haven't been able to beat, and only a couple that I had to take the option to replay while dealing one card at a time. The balloons in game allow an opportunity to view a brief ad in return for helpful things, such as shuffle or hint. Rarely is an ad "forced" on me so I don't mind watching them because there's a reward at the end. The ads between hands pay out as many coins as earned, just for watching 30 seconds or less, to help level up faster.

I’ll admit I was addicted to this game for a long time, each new level within an age promising me some new fun image when I completed that level. Well the first few levels gain percentage points really quickly and then the last couple levels are very slow to gain. Okay I get that, they’ve added some suspense BUT let me tell you about this last age I just completed, it was the Age of Christmas and the last and final level was EXCRUCIATINGLY slow, I would get 1% for every 4-6 games I would win. Also I would click on the thing that said I got a reward and it was a commercial. Seriously??? I know the game is free but the ads are out of control. Good luck if you play this game, I’m done with it.

I’m a simple lady who loves the game of solitaire. This is just a basic, but fun, game. Simple graphics, nothing overly flashy, and each area level provides just a smidge of motivation for any “game completionist.” I hope we get more levels soon! Developers, if you need level ideas I’m your girl!

Update: Version 1.4.8 (Feb 10, 2022)- Are there any plans to release new locations soon? I’d also like to request landscape orientation as well if that might be possible. But between the two requests, I’d rather have new locations haha.

The sequence of the cards in every level are stereotyped and was seemed designed artificially, so when I had retried a level times and times again, the cards are the same, it like someone designed a maze for you and there is only one way out and you have to try every possible roads to find that way, or you could make the game easier——to click the advertisings to get rewards, it totally different like other solitaire games because the sequence of cards are random in other solitaire games.
By the way this games contains loads of advertisings so it makes the experience so bad, I don’t get it why Apple recommends this game.
