Adorable Solitaire Game!
I’ve been playing this game off and on for some time now, but I wanted to say how much I really like this game! The artwork in this game is really nice! Simple and cute, with wonderfully detailed rooms! I love that you can change the artwork on the cards when playing too, and the element of putting together rooms for so many fairytale characters is really cute and fun! I appreciate that there are options for what goes into each room as you progress, even though there are usually only two, I think it really helps when it comes to making a decision of which one I prefer without later regretting my decision or wishing I could change something.
I’m pretty sure this is the first solitaire game I’ve ever played. I never understood solitaire as a kid watching my brother and grandfather play it on PC(I just liked watching the cards all fall down at the end 😅) but this game explains how to play really well I think! I know the solitaire in this game doesn’t play out exactly like the version found on every PC, but it makes the game easy to understand and a little more interesting in providing interesting layouts and challenges!
I think the team behind Theme Solitaire did a really solid job making a fun and colorful game that’s fun to play, especially if you need to waste some time! Extra applause to the artists behind the game, I love the artwork and how the characters have been stylized!

Came back after a year of not playing.
This game is one of those that not many people know about and I’m sad to hear that. It’s cozy while still being challenging enough to enjoy over long stretches of time. I like that I have a plethora of opportunities to get the things I need without paying real money for it. Acquiring the stuff needed in the game is not too difficult that you need to purchase but enough so that I continue to feel fulfillment in the game. Im glad to see that the individual solitaire rounds have gotten a little more difficult. That is promising. I look forward to continuing to play this game.

Addicting game, fun and kind of cute. Some of the characters are quite weird for my taste. I play two games on my phone, this is the only game that went back to the beginning after switching over to my new phone. Not a big deal.
My advice to new players is even if you finished a level and can’t get any more rubys continue to play the easiest level because you will need the coins towards the top of the towers. At that point you are adding cards to your hand SEVERAL times so you will need the coins, trust me, it is rare to get through it with the hand dealt. It gets to the point where you’re not really winning any coins anymore but spending what you have earned just to finish a level and finish your quest.
Oh and the harder it is the less time you’re given, they take away 20 seconds.

Started fun, becoming sinister
I really enjoy the concept of this game and was really enjoying playing it for the first couple weeks I had it. However, as mentioned in some of the more recent reviews, the further you get in the game, the more dejecting it gets.
I had 170K coins saved up until the price to play went up with my next level. I’m now down to 20K, because with all the traps and the poor cost-to-winnings ratio it has become basically impossible to get ahead anymore unless you buy power ups or whatever. This feels more like a money-grab than “leveled difficulty” I’ve seen some weak Developer Responses try to claim on other reviews.
The other thing that really bothers me about this game is how negative some of the little messages the tower characters say when you tap their speech bubbles. They can be really cynical, and indicative of troubled relationships and depressive thoughts. Others seem to be on a more uplifting a emotionally mature level, but it’s so random that it feels reminiscent of manic episodes. Honestly, as someone with depression, some of these speech bubbles are downright triggering.
Especially since I imagine there are quite a few younger and more impressionable people playing this game, I really urge the creators of this game to re-evaluate. It’s one thing to start a conversation about mental health, but I don’t think this is the most responsible way to present it.

Pay to win ruins the fun once again
I just got the game and I can already tell this is another one of those games where they make it so difficult that you have to buy power ups in order to pass. On top of that this game is not kind to those with slow reaction times. It’s not even the timer, it’s the bombs. I simply can’t react fast enough to keep up and it’s frustrating because this is something that is out of my control. The only way to combat this is, you guessed it, getting more power ups. It’s not fun to play a game that is trying to make you pay up.
Other than that I think the concept is awesome. I think the idea of solitaire combined with creating this cut tower is great. This has the potential to be a super fun game but it’s been boggled down by obvious greed. Wish apps would stop doing this Homescapes treatment, it makes me not want to give apps money.

Relaxing time waster
I don’t know why people are complaining about the difficulty. It takes a long time to complete, but it’s not hard. I finished both towers without spending any real life money or crafting many items (I’m just tired of games that require crafting. Luckily it wasn’t necessary. If you do, just pick one or two boosters that you really want and keep upgrading them, since you can only equip one at a time.) They tell you IN THE GAME that if you need more coin, just go back to an easier level. There’s no reason to not have enough in the end. My only gripe is there’s absolutely not reward for finishing the towers. Just, “go to the next one.” For a game so heavy on graphics, it’s extremely anticlimactic!

Do NOT download this game.
I am at the point in the game where I will flip through so many cards that by the time I finally remove at least 1 card from the board I only have 6-7 cards left. The games are actually impossible to finish no matter what combination you pick. Further more, artifact slots are $4.99 each, unlocking cards and tableaus are $0.99 each, and for a SINGLE wild card (a card that you will be lucky to remove 2-6 cards with) is also $0.99. I could understand 10 wildcards but 1 for a dollar??? Furthermore, some of the conversation bubbles the characters have are bizarre. On one occasion, I clicked on the Pinocchio, and he said, “Grandpa Geppetto went to heaven, and Jesus called him father! Can you believe it?”. Yes, sometimes they relate to the stories, but I find them distasteful.
TLDR: This game uses the most egregious tactics for overpriced in-game shop items. Some design is off-putting as well.

It's fun, but I feel like I'm being punished for playing.
First of all, love the idea of the game. Play solitaire & build a cute tower? I'm sold.
The solitaire within the game is fun - I like the icy cards! They're fun yet difficult at times.
I don't like the payout for each game. I'm getting ready to build my next floor very early on in the game, & it costs 20k coins. Not bad except that the game costs 2k to play, and if you make one mistake, you either lose all 2k by giving up or lose more by using powerups/undo/more cards, which are all OUTRAGEOUSLY priced (4k/1k/2k respectively). At the level I was before I deleted the game five minutes ago, I was getting 500 coins per game. Not bad, except for some reason I was losing multiple games in a row, and when I got to 12k from the 14k I had started with, I deleted the game. It felt like the devs were greedily trying to push me toward microtransactions for buying wilds.
Like I said in my title, I feel like I was being punished just for playing the game.
Get your coin input/output ratio right and lower the price of the powerups/undo/more cards to something reasonable & I'll download and play loads more.

update ruined the game
I used to play this game daily for hours on end but ever since the update I can’t hard play it. It is almost impossible to win matches because of the way the cards are dealt and the traps. You can make every right move and never miss a play but still end up loosing because the cards do not play out right. Not to mention the overload of traps that take plays away from your hand.
I have also noticed that it is impossible to get coins freely. It cost me 3000 coins to play a game and you are rewarded maybe 3500 for winning. Sure you can watch an ad for 2000 more coins every 10 minutes, but if you loose the game what’s the point? It’s clear they just want you to buy coins with actual money.
I just don’t find the game worth playing anymore which is sad.

Not working correctly
I have been playing this game for a few months now and find it truly addictive. I wish that the free video was enough to play one game but that’s ok.
My issue is that for the past few weeks I haven’t gotten my login bonus and have experienced major ‘glitches’ or ‘bugs’ ie: I go to click on a card but don’t hit it completely, instead of it just shaking it goes out like it will make the card vanish but the deck card disappears and the recipient card is still on the board. ; also I have been playing before work the 7-10 am challenge for days and still have only registered 29/30 plays. ( as of writing this I have played two games (9:16 AM and still no change.
Makes discouraged to ply since the coins would help with the next floor..
