I’m a recently retired psychiatrist and did not handle emergent situations often in my day to day practice. While it's true that I could find all this information elsewhere, I travel often and feel more comfortable having it readily at my disposal. I know there's a good chance I may be the only physician on the plane and, as it's been years since I've dealt with most situations I might encounter in the air, the airRx APP works as a quick reference guide and refresher. I understand the points of the poster above, but I also know that my lack of recent emergency medical experience makes this app very helpful for me. Most of the things one can do to help in the air are simple, things that I would readily be capable of doing. This app makes sure that, should the situation arise, I will remember the simple things that need to be done.
