- Sync your likes between last.fm and Apple Music as you listen. If Albums finds you've liked the current song on one service but not the other, it will add the like on the other service. Enable this in Settings -> last.fm

- Look, I know that some of you don't always listen to full albums. It's okay. I don't think you deserve to be banished to another app whenever you want to do that. - Apple Music editorial notes are now displayed on the Info tab for albums that have them.

Fixes:
- Improvements to CarPlay app launch time and general performance. Also fixed a couple CarPlay-related crashes and situations where playback wouldn’t start until you addressed a prompt on your phone.
- Rating iCloud Music Library items you uploaded yourself now works instead of popping up an alert telling you to send me logs because it didn’t work.
- Fixed an issue where choosing to keep the queue would restart the queue from the beginning, albeit with the album you wanted to listen to now added in.
- Fixed an issue where the now playing or collection widgets might crash if displaying generic artwork.
- Fixed an edge case where the now playing album page wouldn’t update as tracks/albums changed.
- Fixed an issue where headers for credits sections on the album Info tab might display incorrectly.

Features:
- There is a new “Shortcuts Gallery” section in Automation Corner, which offers pre-built automations for common actions.
- There is a new Shortcut action called "Play a Collection" that lets you choose and play any collection or Quick Action.
- If there are albums you don't want to completely hide in the app, but that you want to exclude from stats/Insights... you can do that now using tags. Choose "Exclude tag from stats" in the Actions menu on the tag's page or tap the gear icon in Library -> Statistics to choose tags to exclude.
- Added a new toggle in last.fm settings to disable scrobbling

Changes:
- If two listening reports fall on the same day, like if the first day of the week is also the first day of the month, both reports will now be displayed.
- There is now a “Show All Results” button on library searches that have more than 20 results.
- The "Play Quick Action" and "Shuffle Collection" Shortcut actions have been retired. You can use the far superior "Play a Collection" action instead.

Fixes:
- Fixed an issue where the “Rate Track on” preference in last.fm settings didn’t work correctly if you had iCloud Sync enabled.
- Added support for downloading last.fm history if you have the “hide recently played tracks” setting enabled for your last.fm account.
- Fixed an iPad issue where the track indicators on the Now Playing status bar would end up in the wrong location if you rotated the iPad or locked the device with the Now Playing screen in the foreground.
- Fixed an issue where the change log indicator didn’t go away after viewing the latest update's notes.
- Fixed an issue that caused incorrectly matched albums from last.fm to still show a play count/last play time even after their sessions had been matched to the correct album.
- Fixed an issue where listening to the same non-library album multiple times in a row wouldn’t count each listen as a separate session.
- Fixed an issue where a quick collection made from an insight collection wouldn’t sort correctly.
- Fixed an issue where incorrect art might be displayed for non-library albums.
- Tapping the settings tab button now correctly navigates back to the main Settings screen if you’re in a subpage.
- Per-track artwork is now correctly displayed in the MiniPlayer and on the now playing screen.
- Some crash fixes and visual tweaks for good measure To configure this, tap the settings gear in Library -> Stats, or select the “Exclude tag from Stats” action in the Actions menu when viewing a tag.

Features:
- Two new Insight Collections: ”Yearly Top Played" collections show your most played albums of each year since you started using Albums. "Workout Jams" collections match your listening history to your Health app workout history. Head to the Insights tab to give Albums permission, and enjoy collections of albums you listened to during each type of exercise you've tracked. You can also now tap "Edit" on the Insights tab to hide sections you aren’t interested in.
- You can now long-press an individual song on a track list to bring up a menu of available actions, like viewing the artist page for any featured artists or rating it on Apple Music. To take an action on the currently playing song, long-press on the Miniplayer.
- Import your last.fm history into your Albums Listening History to include all full album plays in in-app stats. A new Insight Collection called "Forgotten Scrobbles," made up of albums you’ve scrobbled that aren’t in your library, will become available in the "Diamonds in the Rough" section. Finally, the new "Yearly Top Played" Insight Collections will reflect your listening back to the beginning of your last.fm account.

- Improvements to Listening History, including showing the tracks listened in an incomplete album, or the workout associated with a session. When viewing previous listens on an album page, you can tap a session to open that week in your play history. Also, if you are logged into last.fm, you can now show a given day on last.fm by tapping the last.fm logo.
- Head to "Automation Corner" on the settings tab to view the many options available to use Albums with Siri. Configure shortcuts to start playing collections and tagging albums. For the true automation nerds, view information about the new Albums URL Scheme you can use to write your own shortcuts to open an album, artist, or track in Albums.
- The Apple Music tab on the search screen now supports searching for Record Labels. You can also search for and subscribe to labels in the Release Feed settings by choosing “Manage Subscriptions.”
- If you only want to add some tracks from an album to your library, like in the case of a deluxe edition, you can long-press the "Add" button on an album’s page to select specific tracks."
- Long-press an album on the Listening History page to view the songs you listened to from that album during that listening session. This only works for music you listened to after installing this update, as well as for imported last.fm history.
- You can now change the sort artist of an album from its settings.
- There is a new feature in Settings- > Advanced to configure the player to always repeat the current queue.

Changes:
- Redesigned screens throughout the app, most notably album pages.

Fixes:
- There is a new image loading and caching engine, which reduces the memory footprint of the app, and increases scroll performance in image-heavy areas.
- Fixed issues leading to poor scroll performance on the Albums tab, Listening History, and in other places throughout the app.
- Fixed an issue where queues with multiple albums not in your library might behave strangely and not play correctly or support skipping to the next album.
- Fixed an issue where the “Don’t Use Device Speaker” setting only worked on devices where the language was set to English
- Fixed issues that could cause widgets to use too much memory and crash/stop updating.
