Not To Bad
All American has been a pretty good experience for me. They have facilities ranging from 6 miles to 250miles away. For someone that’s willing to travel it’s cool but if I’m willing to travel that far and willing to pick up shift then a housing stipend should be attached to that facility. It can be a delay when requesting a shift so I totally agree with someone else who stated that if you pick up the shift on the board it should automatically be accepted instead of waiting for someone to confirm the shift. A lot of unnecessary miscommunication tend to happen due to the lack of electronics and shifts being confirmed on one end and not confirmed by the agency. Overall I am pleased with how my personal experience has turned out.
angmarama,
The app is not great
This app needs a lot of bugs fixed. Recently got the app, it was good for the first 2 weeks. Now I am experiencing MANY issues: the app alerts me that new shifts have opened near me (do not show up on map) the alert says it was posted a few seconds ago and it will say that all day and when I request the shift from the alert section the shift does not show up under “pending”, I also request several shifts and it says a manager will call the facility yet it does not show my requested shift in pending. The new shift alerts do not show up in the map as well so I am not able to see the new shifts posted on the map or list. I also have issues with getting notified a shift was “accepted” I will receive an email yet it will only show up in my “shifts” then later on I go back and it’s gone. If I am to work a shift and it is no longer on my scheduled shifts than that can be an issue as I requested and agreed to that shift and it’s not showing anymore and I do not want to seem as though I am unreliable when I expect the ALLshift app to work properly. I also messaged tech help but it’s taking a while for their response. I also think it takes way to long to get a shift approved. This app needs to be easier for users! Please fix the app or you’ll be losing staff, thank you!
doritofamine,
If I could give zero stars
This is the worst nursing agency I have ever worked for. I belong to most of the big ones. I’m actually on the advisory board and a featured nurse for several of the bigger ones. Been a nurse for 15 years.
I cannot begin to describe how incompetent the contact person is for NE Ohio, Naba. I try about once a month to pick up shifts, only about 5% of the shifts are actually available, the rest are already filled & the app just isn’t updated. When I do select a shift, I’ll be waiting for weeks to be confirmed. Most often, I never get confirmed or declined, I just sit in limbo until the date has long gone. I try messaging her & she never, ever addresses even simple questions. It’ll be the the very day of the shift I selected weeks ago, I’ll ask her if I’m scheduled or confirmed, & she still will not have an answer? I don’t know how they actually operate a real business this way? I’d love to be able to work even Part time hours, but it’s impossible given the total brick wall I meet with that is Naba, or anyone in customer service. Your business deserves to fail.

I got the app around February and started booking shifts in March. As soon as I requested a shift I got an email stating they were contacting the facilities. They get back to you with a shift approval or decline pretty fast. There are a bunch of open shifts, it just depends on how far your willing to drive. There’s some that are close to home, I live in a small town and they had some shifts in this small town. In the bigger cities there are a bunch of shifts which makes it ideal for people living in or around big cities or if you want to take a business trip and enjoy the beach on the days or times you don’t work. It’s convenient, flexible, and you choose when you work. You have the freedom to work as much or little as you want. Weekly pay is nice and after working a certain amount of hours they give you bonuses.

The app always is having issues, I’m not able to request shifts for weeks now. I’ve called several time and the issue hasn’t be resolved. My first pay check didn’t come until two week later, I had to call several times and if I did t I do t think anyone would have noticed. When I was able to pick up shifts, it was GREAT!!! It’s a very good company when the app is working. There could be some changes in how the shifts are accepted. I think there’s to many changes I hand to get a shift. If the employee request a shift the the should automatically be able to accept or decline that shift that you requested instead of calling your manager having your manager call the facility have the facility called them back that’s just too much they should be able to go onto their board see that you requested a shift then except the shift straight from their board.

I’All American is a really good agency to work for. I’ve been with them for a month now . They have multiple shifts in multiple locations . Whether your looking for a FT,PT or just looking to make some extra cash . Their staff is always available to answer any questions you may have and they respond very quickly. I’ve never had an issue with them. And did I mention it’s weekly pay .. that’s a plus for me . You also earn extra money by accumulating a certain amount of hours . And point … Sign up you won’t be disappointed! I promise you !
ArleenaPayne,
Beware
A shift was posted that I submitted a request to take. It got approved, 2 days later my supervisor says it was the wrong hours you’re confirmed to these hours now. I explained that’s not what I submitted a request for and for her to cancel it. She tells me it’s a “call out” for me. How is it a call out when I didn’t confirm that shift my supervisor did. And I might be blocked from that facility since I “called out”. She blamed the facility for putting the wrong information in the hours they needed.
When you have kids and a life you do agency to work around that not have this company bully you and change your hours. Worst ever at this point. I was very happy until this situation.
Beware what hours you take because they could change at any moment so I hope your flexible if you chose this agency.
Bsalena,
So convenient
This app has honestly changed my work life. It took a little getting used to but now it’s a lifesaver. You pick up shifts when you have the time, there’s allllllways shifts available, it’s just too easy. If you pick up last minute shifts, you can get paid extra, it’s so bomb. I really enjoy this agency. Like I said, at first, the app could look hard but it’s actually super easy, they even have this rewards program and for a certain amount of hours worked, you get an $100 bonus. Love love love it, I haven’t been tied down to a set schedule in a while and I love the freedom

CNA experience
I started working for All American about four weeks ago and wish to share my experience. From the start , the onboarding process was simple . After my background check cleared, I was ready to start working. The app is easy to use and saves me a lot of time and gives me plenty of work options. My Manager has always responded to my questions in a timely manner and was very understanding. I will continue to work through your company and have nothing negative to say. Keep up the good work and thanks again.
pretty trezure,
Not good
I gave them a 2 star because at least whenever you do go to a job and they tell you that you’re not on the schedule they’ll at least pay you for two hours. However, I was hired with this company and picked up every day they posted shifts and was cancelled for every one of them every single day. I was never given the opportunity to work at all. That’s not what I am use to dealing with other agencies. Way too unprofessional and unorganized to me. I just think of all of the days I could have worked with another agency and got paid but I picked up through all American instead and it caused me to almost get evicted because I’d went so long trying to pick up through them and was being denied.
