I like it
I like it. Intelycare is easy to use and have many opportunities. Getting started does take some time but once you’re in, you’re good. It can be inconvenient to the employee when the facility cancels at ANYTIME, which makes me wish there was a limit, like jobs should not be able to cancel at least two hours before shift starts, thus giving the nurse time to find another opening. But this isn’t the reason why i gave 4 stars instead of 5. The reason i gave intelycare 4 stars is because I work for multiple agencies and they offer direct pay to ALL your earnings not just half and You can access it that same day or any day that pay period. This whole third party app thing “DAILY PAY” is kind of annoying. Also, if you worked during a pay period then the next pay period starts, you have no access to your earnings until that following week. HOW INCONVENIENT AND UNFORTUNATE is that. Give me access to all my earnings immediately or after 24 hours.

Shocked At The Negative Reviews!
I’ve been with IntelyCare for over a year. Yes, cancellations happen. That’s expected with agency. I’ve had times where I’ve shown up to my shift and not needed BUT you get paid for 3 hours! AND have to option to pick up at another place for the same shift. Those people that are complaining about being penalized for canceling, Would you do that at a permanent job? Pick up then cancel? You need to be reliable! Yes, majority of these places we go to are pretty bad and short staffed, BUT why do you think they need Agency? If you picked up a shift, you committed to it. Period. If you cancel, you WILL get penalized and moved down a level but not until the 3RD cancellation. Don’t work for them if you are unreliable and flakey. Go get a permanent job and be flakey and see what happens. This company is great and the pay is great! Yes I’ve gone to some horrible places, but I complete my shift! If I never want to go back to that horrendous facility. I don’t have to. Grow up and be responsible adults. If there wasn’t a penalty for cancelling, I could only imagine the reputation this agency would have. I’ve been a nurse for 6 years and have NEVER called off. I get it, things happen. But get your priorities straight. This Is an AWESOME company to work for. Don’t listen to these negative reviews. Try it for yourself if you are a dependable caring human being.

Very flexible and organized
As a CNA, I always wanted to have the flexibility to work when I want to . Intelycare made that happen ! You get to chose what shifts hours you want, 4s , 8s, or 12s , and the location you want to work too . They even take out taxes when you get paid . The only con is the locations that needs intelycare can be far ( beware) if u decided to go full time or don’t like driving far. Overall , I love using intelycare. I’m able to pay bills quicker and have extra money a week early before my other job paychecks comes to me.

Disappointed
It’s a really cool concept but needs a whole lot of work. 1. If you live in a rural area there’s very few shifts open and at only one or two facilities that participate with the app. So you’re competing against many other people. 2. You HAVE to submit a PPD, chest x-ray wasn’t accepted and I submitted their questionnaire but they never responded. 3. You’re obligated to pay for ALL tests and the physical. They don’t pay for the ppd or physical so you’ll need to have money as a “start up” cost.
This is just for people who already have full time or part time jobs with money coming in but for some mysterious reason their jobs don’t allow overtime. (Which everyone’s does.) I can see now why many of my nursing friends looked into these apps and then… went and got a full time job elsewhere.

High cancellation and low compensation
The concept of being able to pick up shifts and choose your own schedule was what attracted me to IntelyCare but they allow the facilities to cancel whenever they want. They tell you that they pay for 3 hours if you get canceled within 2 hours of the shift. But that’s not enough compensation for completely wasting your day. If you pick up 5 shifts expect at least 3 will be canceled. I’ve showed up to facilities at 6:45 and was told I’m canceled after waking up at 5am and driving 45minutes and it happens frequently because IntelyCare allows it. But don’t you dare cancel a shift they will lower your level. So everyone starts at silver, you have to work 30 shifts to get to a higher level but it won’t happen because your shifts will get canceled.

Notifications
This app does not send notifications of new shift near my location or any new shifts of facilities that I requested to get notifications from. I made sure my notifications were available from my phone and app. Also, I would like to save potential future shifts without actually securing the shift because I do not like to scroll and see if the shift is still there (in case I’m able to pick up at last minute).

Flexibility!
I love being able to pick shifts I want to work and where. For the stage my family is in right now, we need maximum flexibility for my career. I get to be home with my kids through the week and pick up shifts when it’s convenient to do so. Best thing since sliced bread! And IntelyCare is always quick to respond to any questions or concerns I’ve had which was my biggest concern going into this. But it has been a fantastic experience!

Can’t get any answers
I don’t know if it’s the app or the intelycare customer service. I email, I call , I email , I call….still in the same boat. Can’t pick up shifts, can’t put my direct deposit info in, up load needed credentials that are current and the shifts are still locked saying I need to upload same credential that I uploaded was reviewed and approved. No words to describe the aggravation. Here I am available , I see shifts, know for a fact that a nursing home that I can’t seem to pick up the shift for, because of this app, has 1 nurses aide trying to care for 20+ people, with whatever help the nurses can provide but they also have there own duties to perform.

Horrible
Having 6 years of Nursing assistant experience and graduating nursing school in 2 months means absolutely nothing unless you have worked while having a license for 6 months. I’ve had the license for 2 months and even have a bachelors degree and associates but can’t pick up a shift? On top of that the interviewer doesn’t care and hangs up since you don’t have it for the 6 months. It’s all about numbers and not true experience. I am way more than qualified than the job, as this was supposed to be a side job for extra money. Very disappointed. This had the potential to be great. Also - it takes 3 weeks just to “interview”

Don’t waste your time.
I submitted all my documents two weeks ago and I could see on their app where each one was approved. After no communication for the next step I tried calling to see what the delay was but was unable to reach anyone. I then emailed them and they responded with my nursing license was rejected and to submit it again. I been a nurse 16 years and never had my license rejected! I responded and said their app showed it approved, they responded back and said unfortunately the app was wrong. Ok…if you’re not going to communicate and your app doesn’t work I’m definitely not going to trust you to get paid!
