nik8171,
Top notch wildlife rehabber locator
As a permitted rehabber listed on this site, I absolutely love it! Time is of the essence with injured and orphaned wildlife. This site makes it so easy to find a rehabber close to you. I’ve also been able to find closer help for some caring folks that have contacted me from not so close but were willing to drive the animal to me. They were elated to not have to drive so far.

Thank you Dave, for creating this site to help us help wildlife!
INTOWILD,
Animal Help Now fills a much needed void for emergency wildlife help!
The Animal Help Now app is the answer to emergency help for wildlife! I found the app to be intuitive and nicely laid out. After exploring a bit further, I could tell that a lot of love and planning went into the development. I love the feature allowing you to search for help by animal type. Download the app today so you'll be ready the next time you need help for wildlife!
masserman,
Great City Animal Rescue Resource
Downloaded this app after my neighbor’s cat got to a baby fledging songbird. Within seconds of opening the app had the closest song bird rehab facility phone number. Now little baby bird is getting the care he needs and will be out flying and singing in the wild soon ❤️ thank you for this app - it helped to save the life of a little Los Angeles resident in need 🐣
sydjwozx,
How many apps save lives?
This one does. It helped me to find help fast for a mangled baby pigeon who is doing much better thanks to a kind hearted rehabber. This app is an easy to use godsend, and I wish more people knew about it. Kudos to whoever thought of this app!
glimmerred,
Download this now
If you’re an animal lover, this app is a must have. It has helped me twice within minutes of finding injured wildlife.
JeffTNYC,
Good but contacts need to be checked
I recently found an animal and used this app. Text then called a woman who it recommended and she said she does not know how she got listed as a wildlife rehabilitator and she does not do this, told me to call the ASPCA and hung up. Do you check to see if these people are legit?
BriggitteD,
A literal life saver!
No matter where I am in the US I can rely on this app to help connect me with wildlife rehabilitation services if/when I need it. Great for peace of mind and helping others who don’t know what to do.
kryptonette,
Reliable
I found a hurt cardinal and cross-checked the rehabber references the vets gave me with this app’s results. They match up. Great tool. Download it before you need it.
Kevin_in_cs,
Came in handy
I’ll let my Facebook post speak for itself:

Here's a picture of the bird I just rescued from the side of the road. He was on his back with his wings spread out, and I almost didn't know it was a bird, let alone anything alive. (It was kind of an edge-on view I had from my car.) I pulled into a nearby parking lot only a minute or two from home and gently flipped him over with my shoe. He then started crawling away (slowly, since he was injured).

Thanks to an app I had on my phone (Animal Help Now!), I was able to to enter what kind of animal it was and find the nearest person or place that could take care of him. I had to drive about six or seven miles to a house, but the lady there was able to take him. I don't know how long he had been there, but it was probably good timing just because of the rain that started almost as soon as we were in the car. Being upside-down, the bird might have gotten water into his beak or nostrils, etc., and who knows what that might have done to him.

He was so good, though. Although he resisted me putting my soft coat around him to carry him (since I had no box or anything else I could use), once I was carrying him to the car and during the long, rush-hour trip to the house he was so calm and didn't try to move. (I talked softly to him, etc., just as I do when I'm taking my cat somewhere.) He struggled a little when I had to bring him back out of the car and to the lady, but he may have been scared or sensitive because of his injury. I hadn't known what it was, but the lady spotted a little blood and an obviously sore spot. She said he was probably hit by a car, but if nothing was "broke" she would be able to help him. Hopefully!

Thanks, Animal Help Now!
DCinColo,
Kudos
Those of us who care about wildlife and who are willing to help when a bird hits a window or an opossum is injured by a car will find Animal Help Now's lifesaving service to be indispensable. It's easy to use, it covers the ENTIRE UNITED STATES, it contains the country's most current and comprehensive list of wildlife emergency professionals, and it's effective 24/7. On top of this, it helps with domestic animal emergencies in CO and TX, which means if you ever travel with your companion animal in these two states, you'll have access to the closest emergency vets, should an emergency arise. I've used it many times, always with success.
