my Grandson LOVES this App!
Since h e was six months old he has absolutely loved to play with this app. At first he'd just hit the iPad with his hands and be rewarded with an animal picture and sound. Now, a year later, he can pick a picture for any of the animals when asked and asks to play the "iPad" whenever he sees me.
This is one of the best teaching tools for toddlers that I've ever seen. Highly recommended for anyone who knows a baby or toddler and wants to play an educational game with them.
I wish they had more animals, or add-ons for the game, but they've really hit on a winning app for the very youngest app users.

I had purchased the full version, but after the update everything has disappered . Been a week of highlighting the problem but the customer is too busy to revert!

Poor update

Not mistake-proof for younger toddlers.
My 17 month-old really likes this game, since she's really fascinated by animals right now. However, this game doesn't have any safeguards against accidental key-presses, which can make it frustrating for younger toddlers whose fine-motor skills aren't well-developed enough for them to tap the icons and swipe the pages accurately each time. As a result, my daughter usually ends up crying for me to help her with this game because she either can't press the the thumbnail picture of the animal that she wants, or she's accidentally hit the "Settings" or "More Apps" icon and navigated away from the pictures. The software developer should move the settings and app purchase features to a separate menu that's difficult for little fingers to access. That would make it much more user-friendly for younger toddlers.

Great app
I downloaded the free app and then ended up purchasing it so I could have all the animals. What I like the most is that it offers two clear pictures of the animals and all of them have sounds. My 2 yr old loves this app compared to others. Also I clicked on the little stars to the right corner of each picture and will send all pictures to the favorite icon. That in return will show all pictures in a slide without having to go to the main menu. Highly recommended!

Not worth it
Too many bugs. Not what I expected. The brown background disappears and comes back periodically without reason. It functions fine when this happens but is very difficult to read the screen. The games do not work at all with this app. There is a place in the settings to switch to game mode. You cam choose pick 4 words to identify, pick 4 words to read, 6 words to identify, etc. But no matter which you choose, once you go to play the game it just brings you to the edit section for a card even tho you are in game mode. It also will not read the cards to you at all. What good is a word game for kids of it won't read the word at least as an option? Not worth my time or money unless they make these changes. If I could give it no stars I would.

The pictures are great the sounds are great. I really like how I can customize everything from manual selection to automatic scrolling. My 1+ year old loves this and I appreciate being able to sit with him and read the words to him. It's a great way to interact with your child!
