Good game for youngsters
This game did miracle for my two-year-old. She now knows her letters and sounds and colors. but we think that the stickers are kind of creepy and that you should get age-appropriate ones. We would also suggest that you would have separate categories for what your child working on such as letters numbers sounds etc. there should also be away for the parent to look at what the child has done and check their progress. Over all it is a very good game and it could help a lot of kids so if you make these adjustments then your game will be a hit.

Wonderful app. It takes the beautiful graphics and great concepts and places them in an engaging game format. Fully customizable, you can turn on and off different topics. Love the letter sounds. Single player mode is great for the kid who needs extra time. The excitement of the competition is wonderful in two player mode. Hope you'll put more of your great matching apps into this terrific format. I could make my own games with this but that takes time. Top of my wish list would be to do a sight word version. Thanks for making this free. I would definitely pay for games with harder content. One suggestion, though. Please don't include the word 'toddler' in the title of the games. Many of us use these apps with older special needs kids and it makes them feel bad to be playing a game labeled for little kids.

I downloaded this to keep my 3 year old entertained on a flight and it worked great! HOWEVER, the best part is that I customized it for my 7 year old with spelling words and math so we can race against each other and he doesn't even know he is studying. Just use a drawing app to draw numbers and words and save them in your photo collection. Then say the question verbally. ie record "9+8" and have the visual be 17. Then do all the "9+x" and you can race your genius to see who can add faster. Just remember to turn off all the other topics, so you can focus on your new topic. You can do places (using pictures), grammar, social studies, history, anything you'd do flash cards for!

Little Stars-- Directions Please
Liked the space theme. Two players racing is nice too.
However, didn't see directions on how to actually play this game, e.g., repeat the command, or exit before completing game. I figured it out by trial and error. Also discovered the stickers could be relocated on the sticker board :-) ; didn't have to leave it where it was automatically placed.
Also, would be much better to turn specific groups "OFF" rather then "DELETE".
Finally, does this game really need to have 2 of the letter R at one time? Can that be changed?

Very interactive!
My 16 month old son started playing this app and was able to understand the words. I find it frustrating when a song or sound plays while the voice is directing them what to do- but this app is very articulate without distractions- love that! My son enjoys picking out his stickers after answering his questions and likes that it doesn't pause or delay- he can keep going without an animation playing that he doesn't like... Over and over again like some apps do.

As usual, alligator apps has included the ability to customizea--a real help for me, as my students use Spanish.
This app has a two person game, as well as the single player mode. Each child is at one end of the ipad, and tries to touch the correct picture first, before their friend does. The first correct answer moves their game token up one space, and whoever makes it to the end first wins. Nice.

Amazing
I play this with my 19 month old daughter and although she is guessing on some topics as a teacher I can see how great of a tool this is for her. I just recently explored the setting and saw that I can adjust the content of the question being asked and can even record my own voice to be used. This has to be one of the best free apps out there.

I have 3 year olds going nuts over this game.
2016 Update: this game deserves more recognition. It has so much potential since it allows for in class student competition beyond what any other app offers. It just needs to be Bitsboard compatible so we can import our board sets. My students still love it.
2013: I use it to teach English.
Was wondering if you guys could work out a deal to import word sets from an app I use called bitsboard.
A combination of player vs player with the ability to use all my boards from the bitsboard app would be beyond magical.
I would gladly pay $10 for that option.

My 2 year old son can't get enough of this game! I'm a fan of anything that will inspire him to sit still in my lap for a few minutes (yay cuddles!), but it blows my mind to see how fast he is learning his letter and numbers with this app. The graphics are gorgeous and the content is highly customizable. No ads : D Very impressive...especially given that it was free.

Challenging but encouraging
My 22 month old daughter enjoys the rewards stickers for her progress which is positive even if she has incorrect answers. This is a little more challenging to play since there are 4 answers to choose from, but I think in a month or two she will improve as she grows. Fun rocket ship animation.
