APA Scorekeeper Hack 1.14.9 + Redeem Codes

The app is cool in certain instances. It’s nice to be able to see things update live and see the breakdowns of each match. It’s a MAJOR BUMMER that you can’t see those same breakdowns after the scoresheet has been submitted… You should definitely add this functionality. There have also been issues resetting matches if the wrong players are selected. This app has a lot of potential but the developers need to work on improving the experience overall. Still not great.

I have to admit that the app is easy to use.
But it does not allow you to review any data on the individual matches as the game is being played. And after you submit your scores you no longer have access to any information about the match. I want more data than who won a match, how many individual games each player won and how many points were earned. I want to see how many innings there were in each game. I want to see how many defense shots there were. Eights on the break. Early 8. Scratch on 8. I want to see all of that data for each match. And we cannot. With the sheet system I would share this information with the team and we could refer to them whenever we can. And based on the layout of the app you can’t even take screen shots of all the information. It’s easy to use but isn’t plater useful in my opinion.

If the app is working properly and not lagging it’s ok at best. And that’s a BIG if. When it’s not working you just can’t keep score at all. More than once we’ve had to go find a blank score sheet when it was lagging. That or delete it and redownload it which sometimes works. But even when it’s working it doesn’t work. I’ve had it switch players on its own or switch and then switch back. It’s one thing if you’re watching it constantly but if you look away for two seconds and it happens then you’re adding every ball (in nine ball) to the wrong person. Then when it’s wrong, even if it’s user error, or god forbid you have to use the bathroom, you have to stop everything so you can catch up. Nothing about this app works well IMO even on a good day.

When the app isn’t freezing or getting out of sync, I love it. It’s the ideal way to keep score in both 8ball and 9ball. However, I do think some bugs need to be worked out because latency/bugs are prevalent. Constant freezing and crashing, which can bring league nights to a grinding halt (especially on 9ball nights where we are tracking every single ball). The APA has a great foundation here but it is my hope that the tech team can find a long term fix to prevent these issues going forward.

App freezes up at times and I’ve had to exit and reboot it. Not good when it happens in the middle of a match!

One feature that would be helpful would be a practice match feature. That way we’re not teaching people how to use it during a match, and it could be used to teach new APA members how the scoring goes while actually playing during g practice.

Download app over year ago used it a few times for 8 ball league, worked then stalled / crashed. Well now went back on to use it and it doesn’t work at all. I’m Asked to tap on upgrade but nothing happens, so I uninstalled it and tried reinstalling but i keep getting thrown back to iPhone password to “continue” even tho it’s in my cloud. So now I can’t even get the app ?
Also I see there’s been updates but I never received them or even an upgrade notice the entire year and a half it’s been on my phone.
What to do ?

I like it better on my iPad vs iPhone. A little trickier it seems on phone. And even more so when scoring 2 matches at a time. Overall I am liking it. Timing of things gets thrown off though when you forget to mark after player finishes. If scoring 2 matches thru my iPhone and player takes a timeout then I can’t switch to other game to mark as needed (or at least I couldn’t figure out how to). Even still I like it. It’s hit or miss. In our area we play in a lot of small private clubs and even if we have access to the WiFi it seems to glitch a lot. It won’t allow us to edit matches and sometimes it even just stops working all together. I like the idea of the app just need to get it to stop glitching all the time.

The scoring app is very well written, but in our league on Monday nights, it freezes OFTEN. Whether on WiFi or mobile data. The whole pool hall will report the outage and it slows the matches down while you wait for the unfreeze and then catch up. We end up still doing paper as a backup. Love the app, fix the server issues.

Overall it’s a pretty good app. Some suggestions for future updates are be able to “split tables”. I mean be able to score two matches at the same time. Also be able to see the scores after they are submitted.
