Archer Forest : Idle Defense Hack 10.01.02 + Redeem Codes

This game is one of those casual games that really gives you several ways to scratch a certain itch when it comes to building up progress and pushing forward in a game. There always seems to be an event going on so there’s always something to strive for. I also spend money on games I enjoy to help support the creators. For this game, I have spent several hundred dollars in support because of my love for this game, but I find that it is constantly and randomly down and unplayable at most times. Due to the game never loading past the starting screen. One time the game broke for 4 days right after an update, this current time I went to sleep for a few hours and now I haven’t been able to get into the game in 6 hours with no explanation, no communication, unable to get into the app to even request help or anything. So if you are a person that takes value in completing events, these in game events are fun but almost impossible to finish based on how poorly operated this game is. This will probably be my only review without a follow up as the amount I have spent on this game vs the inability to play it is greatly unbalanced without dev assistance.

Really fun game, enjoy the arrow combination and such. However I think some aspects are not good/need to be changed. One thing is prices of in app purchases. While most of them are decently priced, there are a few that are straight up outrageous. I’ve seen a few options well over $100+ “on sale” with the retail price well over that and even $1000+. There’s no reason to have in app purchases anywhere close to $100 to begin with. Another thing is a lot of the info and data about your arrows and characters aren’t explained well. If there was a info on all the stats that would be cool, like damage per arrow with/without effects. And how the skill upgrade skill actually upgrades the skill. Often times I log in the game and my characters are missing from the map and I have to reload the map for them to appear. This new village seems pointless and a waste of diamonds. Looks like a clash of clans knock off. And it takes 10 minutes to remove a tree and can only too one at a time. And 8 hours to upgrade the first home base? It’s a fun game. But becoming more monotonous with little progression without pay to win. But they don’t care as much as long as they get your money first

To get my nitpicking out of the way, there are a bunch of simultaneous events going on right now, and they’re covering my health bar and also going off the bottom of the playable area, so that’s annoying. Also, it doesn’t show what you’re watching the randomly interspersed ads for (for the record, it’s high level arrows). Also also, when you activate the auto merge stat, you can’t turn it off, which should really be a feature they add. The actual gameplay on display is pretty good though, and the PVP is… well, fine, I suppose, I’m not much of a PVP guy. My only actual issue, as opposed to all the nitpicks I’ve mentioned so far, is that it crashes. It’s never a big crash, and it never causes me to lose any progress more than half a second’s worth, but it’s still weirdly unstable. That said, yeah, I’d recommend this game, it’s pretty good.

The game is great. I’ve spent many hours playing. But there is no support no way to contact the company for problems with the game. Such as anytime they update the game there are problems with pvp. Stored information about your account example I had 4 pet slot unlocked then after the update I had 3 slots open and it asked me to buy the 4th slot again it took my diamonds to unlock it but didn’t unlock it so I clicked it again took my diamonds again and still didn’t unlock it reloaded the game my slot was open again but still missing all my diamonds on something I already paid for weeks ago. Summoned pets got the new pet for 6 souls but it’s only showing I have 1 soul. I understand there are problems when games are updated but this is every time they update and no support to get your account straightened out. They really need to do something about it 5 stars if they added support and actually do something about problems.

I’ve been playing this game for a few weeks. I love spending some time just clearing through some levels and merging arrows. It runs smooth and I’ve yet to run into any big problems except one:
I’ve been stuck on trying to watch 2 ads for 5 days now. I can’t progress to get more diamonds to level up my stuff, so I’m kind of stuck. Yeah I can keep upgrading arrows, but after a while it gets so slow that I can buy 1000 gems worth of the purple refill coins, and still not get to the newest level of arrow. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE either make it so ads can be played/watched more often or just take the quest out of rotation because it’s been almost impossible for me to pass it.

Well this game does have lots of fun things about it and it has multiple “mini games” inside so there’s always something to do and another way to play the game. However, this game is HIGHLY dependent on paying to advance. Unless you want to play for 3 years. I am writing this review because of one scenario literally, but it was enough to infuriate me.

There is a part of the game called “Zelda’s Circus”. In it there are what looks like carnival/casino type games. One being roulette and the only available one atm. OH and you need to BUY tickets just to play. So I buy 25 tickets @ $17, whatever, the rewards seem decent. I go through all 25 tickets and each time I land on only TWO rewards, the two lowest ones possible. In roulette. Do you know the odds of landing on only two spots in roulette out of 25 spins?!??!! Astronomical. THAT incident alone shows me the amount of BUL***** this game is and how greedy and how DISPROPORTIONATE the $$-to-reward ratio is.

Save your money. Don’t play. Move on. Not worth it. Ruined a great game with greed. Failures

By the time I reached level 10 with the arrows, I realized that levels, stages, and bosses were mere numerical changes, with only shifting shapes and rewards. Strip away the level numbers and visuals, and the core game mechanics remain repetitive. It lost its allure after just the second arrow level. Now, I find myself logging in merely to claim rewards, driven only by the time I’ve already invested. It feels more like a chore than a pleasure. What’s the enjoyment in seemingly endless arrow levels? Do I feel a sense of accomplishment as I level up? No. Is there a novel feature that reignites my passion for the game? Sadly, no. It’s an endless loop of levels and a monotonous concept.

Games should captivate players during gameplay. Yet with this game, as with many others lately, it seems the only true reward comes from spending real money on items, a concept that just doesn’t resonate with me.

Black Diamonds are required in this game for mid level+ content. I’ve spent about $40 on vip and other stuff, I’ve been playing about 3 weeks. I haven’t seen a single bow drop. I get 2-5 black diamonds/day. You need dozens for anything more than basic upgrades, with a 70% success rate (that seems more like a 70% fail rate regardless of what the UI says). So, you save up for days upon days just to fail an upgrade.

The game is good. But I’m quitting over it. They’re too greedy. They want you to spend literally $119 for a “new area” pack. If you aren’t a millionaire and don’t want to have to spend thousands on a game in order to progress - save yourself the $40 to figure this all out.

This game is terrible and annoying, not just the company should fire the “GENIUS” that thought draining the battery of the phone over night was a good strategy to hook users, of course they SHADLY use your phone to process something OTHER than the game, they are basically STEALLING your phone power.

But if that was not enough, they have the WORSE way to retain players ever, with stupid HUGE time penalties for when leaving a Guild or a Family… maybe the same “GENIUS” product guy from above, also thought that well, when players stop playing the game, which literally happens everyday, than the benefits of staying in a Guild or a Family with NO ACTIVE members should FOR SURE be more than the HUGE 1 WEEK PENALTY FOR LEAVING THE FAMILY WITH NO ACTIVE MEMBERS ON IT!!!

So now the game cascades the demotivation effect, not just losing those already innactive players but also losing the players that actively play the game and left a Family or a Guild FOR TOTALLY VALID REASONS!!

For real, you guys should FIRE whoever is the guy that made those stupid decisions and make the game smartter, check if there are innactive members and if so, don’t apply the penalties for who STILL PLAYING AND GIVING YOU GUY MONEY!!!

I started playing this game a couple of weeks ago and it QUICKLY got me addicted.
I almost immediately started handing out $1-$3 purchases (not many— but it was swift).
And at first the game worked REALLY well.
But once they started rolling out updates to prevent phone overheating— the amount of issues have been RIDICULOUS.
I’ve not received 30k+ gems from ‘first boss clearing’, I’ve had gem burning options turning themselves on, and I’ve had my game randomly put itself into settings that generate lower amount of hearts/diamonds.

It feels like this is INTENTIONAL to make you have to spend more money to progress.
As someone who has only spent about $5 because most of their purchases are RIDICULOUSLY overpriced; this is infuriating.
I honestly only even spent those $5 so I could have the amount of gems to create a “family” and “guild” with those I recruited to the game.

But because all of the other purchases, including ‘VIP’, are overpriced and sheer P2W, I refuse.
And now I’m NOT going to recommend anyone else to play and I’m close to quitting myself and trying to get my money back.
