Very spotty performance. “Can’t connect” is a frequent message.

Never Works
I can’t stream live TV or the shows I’ve recorded. This has been on going since Summer. However, I’m still being charged full price for a feature I am unable to access. Support said an update to the app will address my issues. That was months ago and the app still hasn’t been updated. This is pushing me even closer to jumping to T-Mobile for home internet and cutting the cable cord for good.

EXP Rarely Works
I have had the displeasure of using the EXP app from Armstrong for about a year.
It rarely works and 9 times out of 10 either will not connect or can not find my box.
Probably deserves 1 star if not 0 stars but every once in a while it will work.

Good app … for a while. Now it is constantly “Reconnecting” so that neither schedule or individual programs can be seen. What started out good is now just aggravating.
This app gets worse by the day. I stand by my previous review. The only difference is that when it peters out, the message is “reload” instead of “reconnecting.” It’s useless.

I really like this app a lot... I love that I can check my recordings or set up shows to record from my cell phone or my iPad.... I love that I can watch a show on my iPad while I'm cooking dinner or watch a show when outside..... once in a great while it has trouble connecting but it's not been a continuous problem.....👍🏻👍🏻
Use to love it.... I like other people have experienced the black screen and it says to reload… You touch reload does nothing.... The app first stopped working on my iPhone… Now it won’t work on my iPad… And for what I paid for camel it should be working perfectly all the time.... The reason why I got this app is because I could watch shows on my iPad… But I could also set to record things on my iPhone when I wasn’t home… Neither of which I can do now.... fix it

Would be great if it would do what it’s meant to do!
Sure I can connect to my box while I’m at home. But why watch shows on your phone or IPad when you could watch your television? However when I try to download anything I have recorded to my phone or iPad to watch while I’m away from my home, it stops downloading at 34%. The only thing it’s good for is watching channels while away from home if you have the channels app. But that to is if it feels like working. I could be sitting on top of a hot spot and it still doesn’t work at times. Armstrong, please stop making your products sound like they are the best in the business! You do this because you are the ONLY cable provider in our area and you know if you would let any other provider into the area your customers would more than likely leave. You have monopolized the area for far too long leaving satellite providers as the only other service option. Maybe if you had competition it would force you to provide better rates and services to your community! But you have no intentions of doing so.

Reconnecting disconnecting constantly
I am watching a show from Armstrong cable, on an excellent wifi connection from Armstrong. This is already recorded show. The notification pops about every 5 minutes “your network connection has changed” and show stops, and won’t play. After restarting the app I am able to start the show again but now it reset to the beginning. This issue has been happening for a year or longer. Fix it! The “network connection has changed” comes from your wifi, so I’m paying $230 a month for poor network and basic level cable? Overpriced! Also once their rep came over to fix something outside and he was very loud and told me i “can’t speak English” (although I can and my education far exceeds his, but he decided that after one sentence I said). I would stay away from Armstrong but sadly Where I live this is the only option. I would never recommend this company because they seem to be stuck in the past and overcharge you for poor quality products.
